This is a very nice design and it certainly looks impressive, although I haven't seen any episodes with him in so I can't tell just how accurately it captures it.
I have to agree with the consensus on the hammer though. It's not really the toy's fault if the weapon looks like that in the original character design but it's a tiny little thing that has none of the grandeur the rest of the figure exudes. |

I dig the sculpt, nice beard.
As always the more fun oriented photos are my favorites, the Hammer Brothers one is awesome |

King is such a neat design. Very regal and striking. I love his appearance in Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battles Legends.
He does look a little like Captain Crunch, but beyond that I dig him. This Ultra-Act is outside of the scope of what I normally purchase, but he does look very sharp!

I'm not into Ultraman, but I like King's design. That beard and cape really make him stand out among the others.

Man, I don't really watch Ultra Man, but these Ultra-Act figures keep doing a VERY good job at tempting me. If any of their mantles also worked for figuarts, I'd be all over these.

oh. my. god. another fantastic figure I slept on. dang it!
as a side question, I pre ordered Ultra 7 through Amazon. The pics show him with a badass mantle too, but I have a feeling he doesn't actually come with it. does anyone know? |
