I'm not sure what to say to that. Here's my list going from most to least likely about what the movie is.
1 MMPR reboot. I would most likely bet this is it. A reboot with the original suits, zords and maybe the green ranger? Honestly, it'd be cool if they got actual teenagers to play the parts and made it PG-13, because I don't want wooden characters that are unrealistic. Of course it would ride on the story but MMPR season 1 has no story for the core Rangers to base off of. 2 Go-Busters adaptation. Since lots of PRs are technically reimaginings of the original, I could see this happening too. It would also allow Saban to take more liberties with this, as something like this would all probably be reshot. 3 Great Dinosaur War? |

they really need to stop living in the past, I love Mighty Morphin but i'd prefer they stop pushing it as the only good version or the only one worth talking about.
If theyre gonna do MM films though. i'd plan a trilogy with green introduced at the end of the first post credits, have that played through the second, then Thunderzords and White Ranger in the third |

I just hope PLEX is involved in some capacity. I'd hate for Saban to wing it like they did in the first movie. PLEX always has some stand-up stuff.

I really hope it's done well and by people who actually like MMPR.

No matter how it turns out, kudos to them for trying to make an original storyline.

I think one key difference compared to previous efforts at making Power Rangers movies is that this time there's an external partner in Lionsgate to help produce and develop the movie. That would be of tremendous help elevating this movie to at least a professional level. The past two movies were soley Saban/Toei productions.

This is all fairly neat. I do hope it's watchable.
I doubt it will be, considering it's a MMPR reboot, but I don't feel like being needlessly cynical despite knowing literally nothing about the movie.
