Here's a couple of Filler Funnies to kill some time. First one's related to this arc, second is one I highly considered turning into an And Then They Fight. It's great Transformer fun. Enjoy.

-Cold open: You might've noticed a slight tone shift in season 2 to have more serious scenes here and there. I feel this scene is when it's noticable and at the time I limited the serious scenes to be sparing. Anyways, if you're trope savy you can probably guess the path Tuskie is going down. -A little more with Roz hating the idea of the other timeline. There is a reason why she doesn't like it that is revealed later. Also, there's a reason she doesn't use Kai Blasts either. -So Shortround is the only summon in this comic. Wanted to have just one for a while. If I ever get this to a more episodic format, I plan to do this more often. -New Character: Sandy. Since Tuskie was off doing something else, I decicded Desert Claw needed a new lead henchman for this comic. Instead of a straight man like Tuskie, I wanted Sandy to be an enabler of Desert Claw's weirdness. Also, like W, Sandy knows he's in a comic. -New characters: Archdemon and Wolfdemon. The timeline negatives of Archangel and Wolfangel are played as a mistress and her dog. I can't remember the origins of the muffin man joke, but I'm happy it's here. It made for a fun scene. -Had to do the droids joke. It's the reason I used a Sand Trooper for Sandy. -If you haven't noticed, we have random rebel troopers with us in a lot of scenes. Also, it's mentioned earlier, but Roger is remote controlling those droids from the safe house. This is the only comic they appear in. -Wolfangel has a new shield. Shame I didn't upgrade Archangel's sword. This was a great time to do that and he so needed a new one. -I should find a way to use "stuck between a claw and a muffin lover" in convention. -See, Shortround has uses. I like that you can see him with the BAT in his arms. -This is still before I had a great flame effect part for Archangel/demon's Kai Blast. -Heck yeah, new Yoda figure. This one's based on the first Clone Wars cartoon. I really like this Yoda figure and he remains in this toy for the rest of the comic. -Due to my favorite clip from the English dub of Kamen Rider Kabuto (yeah, that exists), I now read Archdemon's "All of you!" line with a voice crack in it. -You might notice that Archdemon's Unicron arm isn't transparent like when Archangel uses the same attack. There's a reason for that that never made it in. I may be able to explain that in the finale, so I'll save it for now. -And...ummm...that gnome robot guy is back. He's a robot, so he's easier to explain then Yoda. I'm not sure if it's ever said since the running gag is no one notices him, but Gnome Prime just used on of the chips in season 1 and went off with Yoda when the paradox happened. Next Time: Nega-Scarlett has escaped, but the gang is back together. Tomorrow we end the first arc of season 2 by catching up with the other timeline and...well, let's just say shit gets real. |

-Cold open: Yoda's a force ghost with a physical form. Also Clamcake's fist is some sort of deal. Like Archdemon's Unicron attack, I hope to explain this later. -Once I has made it clear that both timelines existed, I wanted to do some catching up with what was happening in the origin timeline. I created a new Kai Blast for Wolfangel just to do this. -Once again, really wish I had gone with "pop" and not "poof." It's the little things somethings that get me. -There's a 4th wall break that actually makes since within the context of the comic. -I just noticed Gnome Prime's with them after the paradox. Eh, it's an illusion anyways. -Those symbols were just a bunch of characters I'd like to one day use...and Eek the Cat. -Scarlett is kicking Clinton in the crotch in one panel. -This is the proper introdution to the Axalon Underground forum characters. They mainly appear in Filler Funnies. -One of the members, Dreadnought (I think he renamed himself Nexus Zero later), had his own fictional country, so I'm making reference to that here. I have a guest written comic crediting Nexus Zero as well that explains these events. I'll post it over the weekend. -Icefang and Starshooter are husband and wife if I'm remembering right. The events of how they got the Autobots to help were told in a text story I'm not 100% sure I still have. I do at least have a poster for it. -The other two were suppose to get stories as well, but I never got around to them. -I'm amazied a nuclear joke hadn't happened yet. We're like 20+ issues in. -So why Icefang? Well, I had a contest. Whoever guessed how many DVDs I owned at the time would join the team in the main comic and get a Kai Blast. -Roadblock is because I wanted one of my fav Joes in the comic again and Wall-E because I wanted another droid. -And now for the scene I created to make it things are about to get a little darker and some grit to. -So Cobra Commander is taking Nega-W's place and we have the new Master of Earth, Krang. I probably should've had a short scene of him being appointed earlier in the comic. Oh well, here he is. -OH MY GOD! It's Serpentor! Who would've ever guessed it was him?! -From context, I hope you all gathered that during the fall of Cobra, Cobra Commander tried to kill Serpentor and outed Destro once captured. this is their revenge. -I know this is needlessly violent, but I wanted the see if I could do some of this stuff. The Destro part is probably a bit much, but that hand Destro had just looked like he could tear into someone like that. -He's NOT Serpentor! HA! Who is this guy then? Keep reading. -This is the first major death. There are more coming, though I don't think any of them are quite this graphic. -And to defuse that scene, maybe even undercut it, we are called Bush Raiders again. -Din Crystal! That's what the Red Stone was called in Agent X's comic. -And ending on Negatives of Agent X and Curse from the Botcon arc. I'm not 100% why I added them, but I know a little sometime happens with them. NEXT Time: Over the weekend will be posting some of the spin offs I mentioned earlier and maybe a filler funny or 2. Starting on Monday we will start Arc 2, which is only 2 comics. On Wednesday I'll start Arc 3, which is 3 comics (including the short side story). After that we hit Arc 4, which is the final arc. I maybe put posting arc 4 on hold for a bit while I'm still editing and making those last 2 ATTFs to sync the numbers. We;ll see when we get there. |

Couple more Filler Funnies.
-This one is a rather random comic that was born from the fun of Indiana Jones collecting. Shame that line didn't last longer. -This one has a bit of a story to it. My brother had found an eBay lot of Metal Gear figures for Wolfangel and couldn't use eBay at the time, so had me buy them. I ordered something from the seller to, so when they came to my house I opened the box and checked it all over. Then made this comic without them being any the wiser. |

-For more on Osteogenesis Imperfecta www.oif.org/site/PageServer -Time for an origin story of sorts for Blade. This had been stewing for a long time. I needed to explain Command Line, resolve that one off line in the Botcon arc, and retcon to get what I wanted the character to be from the start. -You might be wondering why Blade wasn't in a wheelchair from the beginning. The answer is simple: Before the movie Avatar, there were almost no wheelchair options in this scale. The chair here is from some anime figurine of a little girl, so only child sized figures can fit in it. -Cold Open: I did make a minor edit here. The origin says Type III OI, but the classifications have changed over the yesrs (possibly even before this was made) so I decided to simplify it to not have that. -Starting with this comic, the star shaped TAOWAR logo is used and the panel has a blue background. I think it pixelated worse over the years, but I'm still happy to have color here. -Oh wow, I totally forgot the segway from the cold open to Springer saying the same line. I think that might've working better if the title pnael was moved before the cold open or after the Springer panel. -Serpentor's "run for your lives" line is from Doctor Who. *whistles nonchalantly* -I wanted to switch bodies on Agent X anf Curse Hawkwind to get them out of those 5" ToyBiz toys, so I had them switch bodies with their timeline negatives here to do that while also destroying the TRU. This means no more crossing over. -I try hard these days to hide the stands, but for Firefly is kind of works in this panel as his name appears below him like he's a monster of the week. -Oh, Roger grabbed Jack Sparrow. I totally forgot about that. -The other monster nametag of the week is Cobra The Enemy. -Another drawn set here, this time a street are night. I got some good use out of this. Also, Night Ops Humvee is rad. Glad I got to use it somewhere. -Hey look, a Transformer that isn't a summon or Springer. I needed Blade alone for the rest of this arc and Blackout was a good chance to give Icefang a minor fight. -One of my other favorite play sets is this Spawn Alley Way set. Highly recommended if you like the 3.75"-4.25" scale. -I wonder if I still have that I Want You card. I think it was a JoeCon ad (and erased whatever the name was) -New Character: Raider. My very first "custom" toy was a Lego made wheelchair Transformer that GI Joe figures could sit in. This was the origns of Raider. I still have it to, it just wasn't super useful for what I needed in the comic. -The Raider custom here is make of TF parts from Beast Machines and Universe. It can't transform, so I made it so Raider's alt mode would cast off like a pretender shell or something. It doesn't really add up in the comic, but at the time it was the best way to make this work. -The plane crash line is stipud. I kind of wish I hadn't put it in there. -I fully admit this origin is a little fan fic-y, but I think that might've been the point. Do all the tropes. Plane crash, best friend is a Transformer, reenacting a song from Aladdin, and probably the most Mary Sue moment in the comic (we'll get to that). -Summon: Who's the coolest shark summon around? Sky-Byte! This one is literally just Sky-Byte. I sadly haven't used him outside this attack. It's worth noting that all of Nega-Gnome's summons are sharks. -New Character: Nega-Gnome. I decided to make one timeline negative a good guy, but since it was a negative of Blade I wanted to make sure he was ridiculously silly. I may have mentioned it in the past but my real world nickname is gnome. I saw a chance to bring it into the comic using the negative and took it. If this had been planned, I probably wouldn't have called Gnome Prime that. -Nega-Gnome also talks similar to Claw Jaw. Because it's fun. -Oh hey, my real name. You may have noticed it on a few Filler Funnies. I like it when the villain calmly say heroes' real names like it's no big deal. -The Mary Sue moment. Hey guys, my OC is so cool, his best friend is a Transformer and he grew up with the Ninja Turtles. Ugh. In comic, this mainly exists to explain why Blade knew the Turtles to begin with and how he got the safe house (AKA the 2003 TMNT lair). -New character: Gravel. Gravel is an in-joke. You see, I have an electric wheelchair. It sinks in gravel. Gravel is my enemy. It was either that or stairs. As for why he's trying to kill Blade, no one knows, yet. -Gravel's custom is a General Tragg from TMNT painted from top to bottom and made to look as frightening as I could. If you're wondering the red is not blood, it's lava. Next Time: The origin story continues and lots of fighting. Last edited by Blade Raider; 05-14-2018 at 05:46 PM.. |

-Cold Open: Now it's time to address Command Line and introduce creator named Jack. This was my way of better explaining that Blade is not really Human or a Transformer. -I am trying so hard with theses rhymes for Roadblock. I'm not saying any of them are good, just that I was trying. -The Kai Blasts here are self explained. Like a lot of the other minor KBs, they are just there to fill the tasks needed in the fights. -Summon: The Sharkticon of Legend, Frark! Like Sky-Byte he's barely used. I have future plans with these though. -And now for a badass Roz moment with a paint gun. Nothing to add here, I just love this this bit. -More on Command Line. There's levels of function to it that become more clear as it goes. The main thing here is that with it's active things like Flash Steps are easier to do. Later Blade is able to form change just Fortiavis as well. This is also when it's revealed that there's more then one form and Boomerraider is named. -This fight might be a little static due to Gravel's toy being limited, but I think it turned out well. -Repainted Boomeraider to be more in Blade's colors. Would've done that the first time if I hadn't switched it at the last moment. -I always hope this fight is easy enough the follow as there's a lot of set up and panels with no dialogue or sounds. -Kai Blast: Eruption. Like the others, this comes from the needs of the scene, but also is in line with what the toy has. Like I mentioned before all that red is lava and the KB is just letting it erupt everywhere. -That 300 line makes no since. Blade wasn't even there for the other one. -Once again, Mary Sue-ish. My OC got a sword from Splinter. Ugh. The TMNT stuff isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things, it's just kind of out of place with the rest of the story. -Blade's sword, Fortiavis, is named here. I know I took the "Fort" from Forte (Latin for strong), but I can't remember where the "iavis" came from and I couldn't find any old notes about it. -Classic GI Joes. I originally planned for Shipwreck to use the gun he came with, but switched to the gun Blade carries to better unify the idea. Oddly enough, Blade switches over to the Shipwreck came with later. Either way, the gun isn't special, I just wanted them to be the same accesoiry. -Originally Archangel was written in here, but Star was the one to start the gnome nickname, so I felt it was better to use him. -Other guns do little to nothing to Gravel, but his weakness is a revolver. Why? We don't know, he needed a weakness that would scare him off. At one point I may have been planning to give Blade a gunblade later. -I had customized more of the Outback toys already, so I used the 25th Outback to be Blade in he's original costume. -This arc was meant to set up some future stories so who, what, and why of Gravel is will not be found here...I may have something planned for the finale though. -Also, that figure on the table appears again later. -Jack's face is not shown. There's a reason for that. -And on that somber note, Here's some W. silliness. -I don't think My Network TV is a thing anymore, just like UPN. -The Cobra-La trap is one of my favorite gags. Next Time: Regrouping as the villains take center stage. |

-If the last arc was about Blade, then this arc is mainly about other character developing and setting up the final arc of the season (aka the incomplete one). -Cold Open: Wanted to remind people about Tuskie's family to set up his development in this arc and visually I wanted to parody the opening of the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime (the part with the burning photo). -This first scene was to recap all the events leading to this while doing some clean up. One thing that needed to be cleaned up was to the villains having negatives. Created a second set of chips to erased them. -I also needed to clean up why THE Master was replaced by Cobra Commander only to be replaced by Serpentor not to long after. -Even tried in the first arc as well as Tales of the Time Thief here (also explaining how Krang got here). -Sorry if there's some spelling errors in this. I fixed at least 3 on the first picture file alone. -Oh, and Baroness got upgraded. This might be the best modern Baroness toy. -The return of Leader-1. Why? Eh, why not? -I kind of love Nega-Gnome. Side note, due to the story line, Nega-Gnome will not meet W. until the finale. And boy am I excited to share that scene. -Suddenly character development for Roz. Her rejection of the paradox is her not wanting to hope her brother is alive even if it's not exactly her brother. Also, TEX is the nicest character in the comic from this scene alone. -Time for more Sandy! And yes, I totally told Sandy that it will end with [Message Deleted]. -I have never read or watched Harry Potter and don't plan on it. This joke is literally all I know about it. -This was a short one. Partly because it didn't have any action in it, but also because some characters just had lot to say without interruptions. Next Time: An missing sword and Tuskie's resolve. |

Meant to post this earlier today, but got side tracked by trying to find a missing prop I need for one single panel.
-No cold open on this one. If I remember right, these two were written as one comic, but due to the text dump in the first half I broke it up. -Upgraded Roadblock here in the same way as Baroness. Was never happy wih the early modern Joes of him. -Thief's gang returns in the same way as Krang. That means Scar Forte is probably around here somewhere to. -Empp knows about THAT scene and wants to punish Blade for THAT scene. Honestly, Ceus should let him. -Thief also gets her 3rd toy here. Wanted a more armored design and the ability to use all the Microman hands from the first figure. -I had a lot of fun with the DE-MOS characters in this arc. -Really wanted to change "master" to "lord" to lessen the name confusion, but I told myself not not to change thingslike this. -Who could Serpentor possibly be? *whistles nonchalantly* -And "Billy" even gtot upgraded. -I wonder if anyone saw the whip gag coming. -Tuskie is a fan of Dinobot's Golden Disc scene. -I like this scene between Tuskie and Destro. Seriously, I'm a little impressed with my past self right now. Scenes like this was why I didn't want to start over. -Don't worry, Springer is still alive. We'll see him again soon. -I just now realized Empp calls the darkest skinned Turtle a "boy." If Empp comes off racist, it's not intentional. He's just an asshole. This is another line I'd edit if I was allowing myself to. -I like how relaxed Yoda looks in this scene. -More explanation on Seal/Release as it plays a part in all of this, though maybe not in the way you might think. -To make sure Thief isn't too Overpowered, this plan could only work with Yoda and other Jedi spirits helping. -Tuskie has a new Darth Vader cape. -Both of the W. scenes in this and the last arc date the comic so bad. Now he's watching Smallville. Next Time: A short comic (literally one picture file) letting some side characters take the spotlight. It is important to the over arcing story though. |

-This is happening as Blade, Thief, Donnie, Yoda, and Empp talk. -I think this is the only time I have the text under the title start the story. Normally it's just a recap. What's said here is brought up in narration at the end as well. I should've moved the text to a yellow narration box in the first panel as I assume anyone that doesn't need a recap skips that text (I know I, writer, does). -While this comic is important, I believe this was the one I left out of the issue count by mistake. Consider this or the Himalayas epilogue a .5 issue. -The Power Levels are bullshit. The only thing to note is Thief is stronger then Blade...oh, and Thief is over that meme. -The head shots of Blade and Thief are from proper photos of the custom figures. I need to save those from Photobucket someday. -I never named Scar's horse, though I remember there was a name thrown around. Something like "Equus of Nine" or the like. I remember it being a Seven of Nine joke at least. -Gnome Prime is a Digimon...as a Transformer. Bet you didn't see that coming. When I decided to bring GP back, I wanted him to be able to grow into a bunch of different Prime/Primal toys. I wanted a Prime/Primal in my ranks and there's so many to choose from. This is the best of both worlds. -Note that in future comics it will be "Digivolve" not "evolve." I think I was going through that anime phase where all changes were considered evil. Meanwhile, even Bandai Japan has accepted the term Digivolve these days. -Vang Primal's toy might looks worn and there's a reason for that, that Optimus Primal was my very first Transformer (along with the croc Megatron, of course). Vang was a name I gave the toy when my brother (and later me) got Ultra class Optimus Primal and I didn't see them as the same character. Why Vang? Because vampire bats and fangs. That's all. -I'm not a fan of Scar's line getting cut off here. It's bad foreshadowing. I didn't want to commit to the word he was going to say because for the problems with the term "Master." The term is revealed in the next arc and I should've revealed it here. -This is the last main comic I'm going to be keeping my hands off of as much as possible. Next main comic is the beginning of the final arc and there's some edits I want to make. There's just some stuff I want to improve and/or make flow better with the finale. Next Time: I dunno. Probably some Filler Funnies over the weekend and then the final 4 old issues next week. I am still working on the finale. I'm currently shooting and editing the epilogue. I got a little behind due to life, but making progress here and there and believe I can have it finished before June. However, in making the finale work I had to skip over some battles that I had set up in issue 36. They are important subplots, but some fat needed to be cut and they had to go. Now that the ending is nearly complete, I want to go back and make those battles I skipped. These were character focused battles. There's enough to make it all its own shorter issue. So I have 2 choices here: Option 1) Delay the finale to issue 38 and make issues 37 the skipped parts before releasing it. If I do this, it might take a while as I'm missing a toy I need to make it. It was a toy I thought I still owned, but sold a year or 2 ago. Option 2) Release the finale first so the ending is done and then make these skipped battles a one off 36.5 issue. I did write the finale as if these battles happened either way and the aftermath is in the first few pages, so the finale would tell you the outcome of these battles if I did it this way. I'd like to know if anyone has a preference here. |

-As mentioned before, I'm allowing myself to edit anything I want in this arc. I will go over every change except simple spelling errors. -This comic has the biggest edit I'm doing in that it is a huge visual edit. And for fun I'm not telling you what it is because I'm curious if anyone can find it. I have kept the originals and will post a side-by-side at a later time. -Starting with this comic every comic has an individual title all of which are songs titles. This one is Good Morning, best known for it's use in the musical Singin' in the Rain. -Hey, Springer's back and can be a helicopter now. Sadly, this is his last appearance in the completed comics. -More trooper fun. That is not Sandy, by the way, just a dirty Stormtrooper. -Yes, that a TMNT II line. I regret nothing because I love that line. -My goal here was to set up a handful of one-on-one battles to give the main cast that wasn't around much this season a spotlight fight each. -Pit Viper has the title drop. Here he actually sings it. Later it will just be in normal dialogue. -Roz uses a Spy Troops Lady Jaye that came with a Baroness disguise as her figure. This was a fun excuse to use those parts. -Corrected an error here. The Paradox Machine is in the basement as seen in an earlier comic. The original lines were "Down the Hall" and "On the first floor? Really?" -Changed Roadblock's line to set up Baroness' reply better. Otherwise Baroness is replying to TEX's line, who isn't there. The original line was "Good thing, we have a fight to bring." It almost works that way, but I think him using the word deliver instead makes it flow better. -Shock value time. Judgement is missing an arm and maybe dead. Things are about to get dark is what I'm saying. NEXT TIME: The fight against the Negatives begins while the battlefield gets messy in Time Storm Part II: Danger Zone. |
