15 episodes into Dairanger now.
I'm liking it enough to keep watching, it's slowly growing on me for sure. I find myself missing the Zyuranger crew but I still keep watching it. Some of the monsters are so laughable and incredibly bizarre I kind of can't wait to see what happens next. The lipstick-woman-kaiju,..the one made out of Tofu blocks,...Kabuki-Boy,...crazy stuff. ..and yet, the show is a lot of fun to watch so I keep watching. |

Last episode of Kakuranger is behind me. I really enjoyed that, at some moments it was really funny, crazy, full of action, gripping, but also dramatic, pompous, reflective. I think the message of series finale is very important. It's good that except entertainment, you can look at yourself.

20 episodes into Dairanger.
The white ranger/little kid is kind of a perv, eh? And the talking sword is an interesting character. I like that it scolds the kid like, "quit f**king around and be a man!" Lol |

It's been a looooooong while since I've started a Sentai show, but I just started Bioman. Woo!
I loved the first episode but was pretty lukewarm on episodes two and three. They felt like very standard, recycled 80s sentai plots (though I did like that Yellow Four wasn't immediately eager to join up). Can anyone reassure me that the show picks up eventually? |

Earlier this week I stumbled across an ENGLISH fandub of the series' most infamous moment- (should say "spoilers" but I think that statute of limitations has passed) |

Wasn’t Bioman officially dubbed in English for Filipino television?

man Diaranger just went dark.
Red ranger is torturing himself to get faster at fighting. And the bad guy realizing that he loves a woman considers that love a weakness, so his solution is to just kill her. Ep 27 Crazy. Never thought I'd like Sentai as much as I like Kamen Rider, Ultraman, or Godzilla ,..but I have to admit I've really liked Zyuranger, Akibaranger, and now Dairanger a whole hell of a lot. They keep surprising me. |

Yeah, that part of Dairanger was intense, especially when he chooses to kill her.

If there's one thing showa era tokusatsu has taught me, the best way for a hero, and by that I mean a man, to grow stronger is to bury his emotions and put himself constantly through torturous training from hell. Tears are a weakness!
