Skyfall - Wow, what can I say about this movie? It was down right amazing!!! It is not only now my fourth favorite Bond movie (knocking Thunderball to #5), but it is also the best movie of 2012 hands down. Avengers was incredible, but the events, cinematography, character development, and action scenes are even better. It's story keeps you guessing on what is going to happen and Bardem's character is by far the best villain of the series since Sanchez in Licence to Kill. Every scene with Q was full of brilliant dialog and the final bits of the movie are as unforgettable as those found in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. There are multiple homages to the previous movies and it was truly worthy of being the movie for its 50th anniversary. Not to mention it was well worth the four year wait from Quantum.
Oh yeah, I also like how the villains seem to be named off of colors. Mr White, Dominic Greene, and now Silver. |

I would have gone to see this movie, but I have other things going on in my life that need to be addressed. But Skyfall seems to be a good movie and I'll possibly see it when it comes to home theaters.

Skyfall was fantastic and blew my expectations away. While I was always just a casual viewer of Bond, I enjoyed all the homages in this movie. It was modern, yet very classic. This duality is even a part of the movie's plot!
Hands down my favorite Craig Bond film. I loved Casino Royale, was not that keen on Quantum of Solace, but Skyfall beats both of them combined. Never dull, great action, and a loving exploration of the principle characters of Bond and M. Definitely one of the best of 2012.

Saw it yesterday and was blown away, especially since I didn't care for the last 2 movies. It's also nice seeing practical effects instead of CGI.

I loved this film as well. I've seen it twice, and think it really might be the best Bond film. It's very well made, it's an excellent story, and while I love most of the past Bond films, having seen all but two, there isn't one I hate yet (but the two I haven't seen are Die Another Day and Quantum of Solace, so...) and I enjoy films that most other 'fans' despise, I think this one is probably the best.
It was so very fun and exciting. I don't have a single complaint about it. Quote:

Funny thing though, they didn't pick up the Quantum subplot. Now we might never know what happened to Mr White (or they could pick it up next time).
