It's certainly of a more flexible variety than the first one, I'll give you that. But it's the kind of thing I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving flexed for an extended period. As is I rely on the hinges to move them out enough to pose his legs. The chances of warping or leaving stress fractures in that plastic are still fairly high with even minimal. Given it's range and potential degradation, that's still rigid to me. It really should have been a cloth part like what they've done for Prime Rogue.

That's fair, rigid makes me think of the first Evol or shudders Crocus.
Agreed on the cloth. |

Nice figure. The head looks odd from the side view though.

In a series of great designs, Evolt stands out for probably beng the most intricate. Not that the others aren't detailed, but Evolt Cobra has so many sharp points, curves, and little embelishments that he just loojs more regal compared to the other Riders. And it makes sense, considering Evolt's rider belt is meant to be the much more advanced alien original. Black Hole trades some of that for the black overlayer, and while I won't say it looks better, I still like it. I got the SO-DO right around the time I was having to crash study black holes for uni, so I've got a fondness for him.

This figure looks pretty pog Evolto was one of the strongest villains in the series considering everything he has done such as possessing the Riders being destructive with abilities of the Black Hole and... I would say more but I don't want to spoil anything lol. Just a lot about Evolto is very menacing.

I loved Evolt, he was such an awesome character. And his designs were amazing! The astrolabe design translated interestingly nice. Lol!

Evolt Black Hole is an interesting form. I'd love to have it in my collection.

This suit's just weird to me... Since I never got far into Build, my interest in the Figuarts stems just from still really liking the designs. So if I had to pick one (and kind of wish I had heh), I'd definitely go for Phase 1 over this one by far. The flat black and white just doesn't look right with the metallic reds, blues, and golds. Maybe that's a bit intentional, but it just doesn't feel complete to me as a result. The visual effects the new parts have (like that literal black hole in the helmet) are cool, but a cohesive look would've really helped.
