Went out to Japan Village in Brooklyn to check out their BookOff location since I don't get as much of a chance to visit them as their midtown location and just as I was about to go check out, I looked over to the shelves by the register and spotted this guy...
Complete. Sealed. Completely untouched. In which case I immediately rethought some of my purchases, put some stuff away and then immediately put him in my basket. Being sealed in his box for 10+ years meant he had a lot of paint stuckage out of the box, so it took some careful work to fix that and unfortunately you can see a bit of it on both bicep swivel points since the paint essentially rubbed off once they were freed up, but outside of that and his construction for some reason excluding any waist swivel, he looks great and scales real nice with his contemporaries. So glad to own this guy.

Amazing find! That's one of the figures I really wish would get a reissue.

March was a more quiet month -
3.75 in Star Wars Sabine was a great looking figured offered at a not great price. It shelf warmed enough on Target to eventually go on sale. I also found a custom pained 332nd clone helmet on Instagram and paired it with a spare 501st body. It's an old mold but it's my favorite at this scale. The rest were ebay purchases to fill out my collection Medicom Mafex Comic Venom & Iron Man Found both on Plaza Japan, first time using them and was very satisfied. Looks like they have a decent selection of past releases & new retail offerings. Medicom has been on a nice streak of reissuing popular figures lately, so I was able to snag a Venom at a great price. Iron Man hasn't been reissued yet but the price was also too good to pass up Marvel Legends Retro War Machine Okay, this one was a bit of an impulse buy after getting the Mafex, but something about classic comic style figures hits way more different than movie stuff

Decided to pick up some non-toku/Transformers stuff this time around.
I really like the Revoltech figure designs! |
