The three layers of boxes seem excessive, but Wing Form Den-O is a Beautiful figure. The silver on the white is really great, the gold undersuit contrasts nicely with said white/silver, and I love the eyes. Very happy to have this, and it might be my favorite of the five single Imagin forms.
If only I had thought to bring my wire cutters to work so I could get him out of his freaking package. Derp. |

I really like the use of translucent plastic on the Imagins. Great pics!

Thank you for reminding me how bummed I am that the KT version of Kin, Ura, and Ryuu are only available in a big, exclusive, and expensive boxset.

You're welcome.
I too, really like the translucent plastic, really looks great. It's more subtle in person than the pics, but it's cool. |

You know, even though I JUST completed the Imagins, I found the Den-Liner set with the KT versions of the Imagins on Mandarake. I nearly bought it.
If the other Den-O forms are released as KT, I would probably end up getting everything all over again. I REALLY dig the look of the Den-O SICs, more than the Double figures (except maybe FangJoker). |

So, somebody posted this at HJU earlier today, and I thought it should be put here.
G Den-O Tamashii Webshouten, October 2012 http://p-bandai.jp/tamashiiwebshouten/item-1000016359/ I wants it, despite not having yet watched any of the Chou Den-O Trilogy. I'm a big fan of the Den-O SIC figures in general. If only they would also announce Sieg, I don't care if he's exclusive, I need him to finish off the set. |

Hey guys, over on TFW2005, I have some questions regarding SIC's, specifically the Wolf Orphnoch. My current question is down at the bottom and is in BOLD.
Here's the thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/toyark...hread-215.html Quote:
Hey guys, I know next to nothing on these SIC figures, but my question is:
Is this: é*æ…ˆã®ï¼¥ï½ï½“ï½™ Liï½*ï½… : S.I.C.極é*‚ ウルフオルフェノク The same product as this: S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Wolf Orphnoch - Kamen Rider S.I.C. If it is, for $18.99 it seems like a really neat figure (especially since the others listed can be $50-100+). How big are these figures? How is their quality and durability? Quote:
Yes, I believe the one in that blog is the KT as well. They're only like 4 or 5 inches tall though and there is no diecast in them. SIC KT's are sort of smaller versions of regular SICs.
Here are some more pics: S.I.C. They're pretty well articulated and detailed for their size though. Quote:

As far as I know, the only other posable Wolf Orphnoch is the one from SIC Vol. 28 that released back in 2005. It was actually a Faiz figure that the could be partly taken apart and then turned into the Wolf Orphnoch. That would be normal SIC size, which I believe is around 8-9" (I don't have any SICs anymore, so I don't remember the exact size), but since it was one of the earlier SICs, it may be a bit fragile and the posability might not be great.
You might also have a hard time tracking it down since it released 7 years ago. S.I.C.@‰¼–ʃ‰ƒCƒ_[ƒtƒ@ƒCƒY S.I.C. Vol.28 Kamen Rider 555 (Completed) Bandai Kamen Rider 555 Edit: Couldn't find one on Mandarake, so it looks like you're only option is probably Ebay, which will run you near $100 with shipping http://www.ebay.com/itm/SIC-Vol-28-Masked-Rider-555-FAIZ-Figure-S-I-C-S-I-C-/160516654056?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item255f89c3e8#ht_2661wt_1163 Quote:
Yeah, I've become well acquainted with the fragility of SIC figures from years past just by reading horror stories on them. No way would I pay any money for something that fragile, no matter how awesome it looked.
But you say these new, smaller 5 inch SIC figures are very durable? Anything I should look out for or be aware of with these new smaller ones? What about the SHFiguarts or Motion Revive Series figures? Did they make the Wolf Orpnoch in those lines? |

The KTs are pretty damn durable. I've had several of them fall off of shelves and suffer absolutely no damage. The only problems I've ever had were with Blade and Garo - Blade's right shoulder pad broke off the ball (easily fixed with glue) and Garo's fist broke with the ball stuck in the wrist socket (not easily fixed and a pain in the ass to get out). Those are the only breakages I've had. The Garo figures and Blade have some molding issues and limitations, but the figures are very solid and nice.
You are not going to find a Wolf Orphenoch in the Figuarts or Motion Revive lines. There is a big SIC, but it's an alternate armor for the Faiz SIC and is reportedly pretty fragile. I don't have the KT version, but I've never heard anything bad about it. |
