I actually meant just have three combos.
With the original Cyclone Joker set and the HeatMetal LunaTrigger set, unless you want CycloneJoker by himself at all times, you can't form swap and have three figures, since only HM/LT have the inner frame with the swappable hip joints and midsection pegs, along with inner heads to swap faces on. BUT, HM/LT does come with halves for form-swappable CycloneJoker head and new midesection, but no frame since the original's has no pegs and no inner head piece. But the CC/JJ set has all that since it's based off the improvements made for HM/LT. So, with the CC/JJ set, the CJ/CJX set and HM/LT, you could swap parts enough to have three form swappable doubles, plus a complete CJX. (since the Cyclone Joker set originally, I believe, only had one set of shoulder "muscle" pads and the maximum drive slot. Effectively having display options for all his most common forms. Only thing is I bet you'd have a lot of extra parts. BUT you'd have full form-swap-ability throughout all three figures without compromising on CJX or having only two form-swapped doubles outside of the common combinations. Basically turning the SICs into hightly detailed WFC figures. I guess I'll find out one day since I plan on getting all the Double SICs no matter what. I think you are correct. I was typing up a message to the effect of I thought that you only needed CJX & HM/LT, but the more I think about it, the more I think that it DOESN'T work with the CJX ab piece.
So you can have the primary three forms, or you can have your choice of 2 of any of the other forms. You'd either need another HM/LT set or the CC/JJ set to get a 3 ab piece with the pegs. I THINK it's just the one piece that CJX doesn't have that is needed. I think the CJX hips work fine, because of the change needed for the Extreme form. But I might be mistaken. Yes, you would have a ton of extra parts, enough to make 1 additional figure (but he'd be backwards JokerCyclone) and nearly enough to make a 2nd additional figure. Really, in your scenario, the only thing the CJ/X set gives you is the CJX form. CC/JJ has everything needed to do the form changes with the HM/LT set, so you could get away with just buying the 2 sets, unless you really want CJX, which I think it's a great form. I have always intended to get CC/JJ so I could leave CJX alone and have 3 figures for full form change abilities. But I've always found other stuff to spend money on before that. I just display mine in the primary 3 forms. I definitely recommend them, they're fun figures, the form changing is fiddly, because you break the figures down to their component piece, it's not a rip it in half and stick it together again like the WFC. But imo, the Fang Joker / Skull set is the most awesomest, but FJ is also Double's best form. |

I think FangJoker is double's best form, too.
And yeah, I just really want extreme. I mean, I'm not a fan of the show suit that much, but the SIC takes it from "Okay" to "Holy God that is sweet." It actually looks like a final, ultimate form. Like I said, I plan to get them all since I want the improved Cyclone Joker and Extreme. I have Skull and FangJoker coming so I'm alreayd 1/4 of the way there. |

Cool, FangJoker is really great, the arm/leg and shoulder spikes are metal, which I think is really cool.
Skull is so photogenic, and he just looks awesome from every angle, I love him. |

These guys are friggin' awesome. They're almost perfect. Unlike most toys of this level, which is to say high-end Bandai Japan stuff, there's no outright flaws that I've discovered. Usually I find some joints work against eachother, like in my Figuarts Cyclone Joker where his inner shoulder joint is loose but his actual shoulder joint is rock solid, everything here has the perfect tolerance. Nothing's too tight or too loose. (I, of course, had to remedy Skull's hat. But applying the same fix to it that I did the figurize gives me a rock solid Skull) They're solid, I love the aesthetic, quality's top notch and the paint work is to do for. I mean, I didn't think I'd ever hate them, but I wasn't prepared to be smitten. I thought they'd be pretty display pieces at best. These are more solid than most of my actual toys. I accidentally dropped FangJoker from chest level on a carpeted floor and while he exploded into a billion pieces (ala form swap) not a thing was damaged. Not even his crest. In fact it just demonstarted, yet again, how tolerant but not super stiff part swapping and joints are. I also finished OOOs today, which was awesome since I had Tajador in front of me the whole time. Now I want to get Tatoba and I'm saving my pennies for Putotyra. Though I heard Tatoba's not that great? Aesthetically I can't say I'm super fond of the head. I think it takes liberties that don't work with the Tatoba helmet design (the small eyes, mainly. Everything else looks awesome) but I can look past that. But I heard he has some QC issues, but never saw anyone mention details? (I also hear the SH Figuart has issues too. Poor Tatoba can't catch a break) I mean, if all SICs are like these three, I can't understand why the line isn't at Figuarts-level popularity yet. Though I guess the aethetics aren't everyone's thing. (and even if they are, I'm sure peopel prioritize show-accuracy over the artistic redesigns) This needs more releases, too. And not all exclusives. (Gatkiriba, Shauta) Last edited by SPLIT LIP; 02-23-2013 at 11:45 PM.. |

I really like SIC TaToBa. From the right angles the helmet isn't bad. The only inherent problem with him is one of the legs and how it's molded such that he can't stand exactly straight or w/e. The only QC issues I can think of would be a loose joint here or there.
I'm really looking forward to PuToTyra as well, but that won't be out until May. GataKiriBa cannot come soon enough.

Is Gatakiriba not out?
Huh, I wonder if this means I have a shot. I'd really love to own them all. There's not an SIC of an OOO combo I don't like. I would love to see how Sagozo would look. (seems dumb for them not to do it) |

GataKiriBa releases in March. The orders for it have closed though. I'm sure you'll be able to find one somewhere eventually.
And they've shown all 7 SIC OOO forms already. Or the protoypes at least. SaGoZo:

SaGoZho always looks so Beastly as a SIC. I'm so glad they're doing these. There may not be solid release info for the rest of then yet but I will get them all. Exclusive or not.
