When trouble rears its ugly head, you'd better make it a Lightspeed Rescue!
Continuing the galleries of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce 5" Figures, we're proud to bring you another legendary Red Ranger gallery. Having surged in popularity in recent years his figure is desired by many and found by few. That's right - we're talking about the Lightspeed Rescue Red Ranger, Carter Grayson. Releasing in Wave 4 of the 5" figure assortment, this figure is actually harder to find than you might expect - a lot of stores never got Wave 4 and if they did, you had one (at most maybe two) chances at grabbing the figure as he was packaged one per case. The figure itself is your standard 5" figure, 13 points of articulation and shares the same arms and legs as every other male 5" figure has. The differences in this figure are the details - and they're great! They molded the Lightspeed Rescue symbol on to the cuffs of the gloves and boots as well as the belt. And while the symbol isn't perfect (especially the smaller ones on the boots and gloves), the fact that it's there and looks pretty close is astonishing. This isn't S.H. Figuarts level of detailing, but for a Bandai of America figure at an affordable cost of around $10, this is an awesome surprise. The weapons - again - are cast with soft plastic so that they bend. I'm not sure if this is a safety reason (pointy edges for swords/weapons/blades/etc) but it does hamper what is otherwise a GREAT figure! He comes with both the V-Lancer and the Rescue Blaster. The detailing on both these weapons is phenomenal - especially the V-Lancer (comes in the 'extended' mode). For some odd reason (stock photos probably), the image of the Lightspeed Rescue Red Ranger shown on the package is shown holding his component of the Rescue Bird, which is not included with the figure. This doesn't happen often in this line (that the figure is shown with a weapon other than what they come with) but we do see it again in an upcoming gallery of the Super Samurai Red Ranger. So let's get down to the details shall we? THE GOOD!
THE BAD!
THE OVERALL CONCLUSION! This is a great figure. The amount of detail in the boots and gloves, along with the beautiful (yet bendy) weapons make this figure a must-have for any Power Rangers fan. With no S.H. Figuart available for this figure, and no clue if there will ever be one, if you're a fan of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue make it a point to track this figure down and grab one - you won't be disappointed. Kudos to Bandai of America for putting some extra love and effort in to these Legendary Red Rangers!

If not for the super bendy weapons (that warp a lot of times just in how they end up in package) this figure would be close to perfect for what it is. Just can't get past those bendy weapons that end up warping
I know there's some easy solutions for that, but still - if it could come out of package perfect, that would be ... well ... perfect!

I need it. Lightspeed's my favorite series and who knows when I'll see GoGoV SHFs. Now if only I can find one...

Just wait for Den-O's Titanium Ranger gallery. That will make even casual fans want a Titanium Ranger! It's gonna be SWEET!
Here's a preview of his gallery ... well, let's just say he's been busy buying as much Titanium Ranger stuff as he can. And one of his best friends ever just sent him the PMC key pack that has the Titanium Ranger to make it even more complete!

The only reason I'll buy this guy (if my stores ever actually stock anything PR anymore) is because the chances of getting GoGoV Figuarts are slim to none.

Really glad I found one, then. But I'm going to keep that rather hush-hush for now.
