We have seen how BoA will either tool all new zords that are simplified compared to their Bandai Japan predecessors, OR go in a completely different direction and make all new toys. With a PLEX guy now onboard, we have started to see some neat play styles emerge. From a bunch of zord combinations due to the zord builder system, to the new plamo emblem kits with buildable Mega Ranger figures, BoA is going a different direction and some of it is of interest to me.
While my ultimate desire is to see Sentai mecha in the SOC line by Tamashii Nations, fully articulated, transformable and with diecast metal content high enough to be lethal, I think BoA will make a new zord system; fully articulated, transforming megazords but with all plastic construction and not as refined as SOC releases. Why? Well for one thing, it's fun. Come on, remember back in the day how some of us wished the Dragonzord could move his tail like Godzilla or at least have the Dragon Megazord bend at the knee? How about those kick ass final strike sword poses that the Megazord had right before murdering the supersized monsters sent by Rita to their timely deaths at the end of each episode? If I want my Megazord posed as if to bludgeon the Earth I want it posed correctly, not, "HEY GUYS LOOK HE IS HOLDING HIS ARM STRAIGHT AHEAD WITH A BLUNT SWOR-KNIFE HAR HAR". I dunno, I can feel it, I can taste it, I think this will happen.
