Omega was one of my favourite designs as a child, and it's still one of my favourites now. I gotta try and get him. Come on UK Import lottery, go my way for once.

Yea if they didn't paint it, it's gonna be criticized heavily. Especially considering that this figure charges an extra $10.

I can understand selling Omega with his unicycle because as a figure by himself since no weapons etc etc. Still out of all figures to premiere a possible vehicle based subline why go with the unicycle?

I think it's because 1) SPD is a popular season, 2) Omega Ranger's vehicle is easy to produce, I think the closest runner up would be Beast Morphers Red and Cruise since it's a signature part of him, and 3) They are catering to those that have Figuarts of Dekaranger and having an equivalent of Dekbreak figure would help complete the Dekaranger set

Why would you start your Deluxe LC line with a cycle there was little demand for instead of, oh, say, ANY Battlizer whatsoever?

Wendee Lee (Faye in Cowboy Bebop, Sophie in Sword Art Online) was Scorpina. Tony Oliver (Lupin III, Minato in Naruto) was a script writer and executive producer, also voicing Saba and various monsters. Robert Axelrod (Armadillomon in Digimon, Rico in Robotech) was Lord Zedd and Finster. Brianne Siddall (Tsukasa in .hack//SIGN, Tommy in Digimon Frontier) was Circuit. Lex Lang (Sanosuke in Rurouni Kenshin, Dr. Cortex in Crash Bandicoot) was Zen-Aku. Michael Sorich (Whisper in Yo-Kai Watch, Dimple in Mob Psycho 100) was Squatt and dozens of various monsters. Dave Mallow (Strazio in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Akuma in modern Street Fighter) was the Wild Force narrator and Baboo. Barbara Goodson (Chiyo in Naruto Shippuden, Laharl in the Disgaea series) is, of course, Rita Repulsa. As to why they don't bring in LA voice actors for the current series? Cost-saving. No, they wouldn't have to fly the VAs out to New Zealand to record, but they would need to either sub-contract out a studio in LA or record via telephone, both of which would cost more money than the execs are willing to spend. |
