Would any of you like to see something like Build? A way to make it better than Dragon Knight and Masked Rider?

As an American adaption? Yeah if we had to adapt one build would probably be the best as it would convey the thenes and ideas of kamen rider well, if we straight adapted it or it could get more interesting with a more clever adaption.

Sure, a Canadian company could do it, not sure how it'd be different.

I hope it doesn't get adapted.
America dumbs down and 'kiddiefies' what it adapts. Even looking at Sentai compared to Power Rangers. Sentai seems aimed more at teens-young adults while the Power Rangers episodes I've seen, (i've been watching Ninja Steel on Netflix when I'm bored and want something to watch on my phone),..seems like they're aimed at very young kids. It's goofy and silly and cringey at times. They already tried twice with Kamen Rider and couldn't pull it off. Honestly the best thing (in my bloviated opinion), would be to make a feature length movie sort of like the Marvel movies. Make it "badass and edgy" (I know I know,..stupid industry buzz-words),...and something that would make people want to watch more. If they started with a really good movie, they could spin it off into a tv show. imo that's the only way it would work and get decent ratings. ..or make a Netflix show, ..after the movie. Honestly I'd rather they don't even try to Americanize it. I'm very happy with it right where it is, showcasing the original culture it's based on. |

I thought Dragon Knight didn't succeed because the toys kinda suck so it didn't sell well. The same fate as the Thundercats reboot faced. As for one to adapt I rather it not be Build or at least not yet. Rather another is adapted and work it's way to Build. Would be down for a Wizard adaption.

It's because we're used to treating kids like idiots in the US. Sentai isn't nearly as dumbed down as Power Rangers, so it has more appeal to older audiences. However, when I was in Japan, all of the Sentai and Rider stuff I saw was clearly aimed at kids (aside from Figuarts and such)
