No? I've been watching the sub since the end of Enies Lobby. So once the dub gets up to there, I don't really want to watch what I already have.

Another DBZ movie duo:
Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan (aka LOOK!! More Saiyans Survived!): Just as my subtitle for it says, another movie where it turns out there are still more Saiyans in the universe. So much for there only being four, huh? The movie is not that bad actually, as it does try to tell a good story. The problem is, the plot is just so boring to sit through because Brolli and his father are just not that interesting. The animation is nice though. If the movie had been about 15 minute shorter though, featured better action scenes, it would have been a much better movie and the best of the movies at this point. Instead, the pacing is horrible and the fights are about as exciting as watching butter melt. Thankfully they don't do the Krillin getting owned joke again that all of the movies prior had been doing. Overall, I give this one a 6/10. Bojack Unbound: Wait, can it be, a movie where Goku not only does NOT save the day, but it is all up to Gohan to do it? WOW!! Okay, Goku still has a little part in it, but the fact that Goku does not have to defeat the villain is what makes this one stand out. It has an interesting premise to it and it really isn't that bad of a movie. The only real downside to the movie is that Bojack and his crew are just generic villains. There is nothing that makes any of them remotely interesting and they do go down a little too easily. On the other hand, not having everyone having to give up their energy to defeat the villain was also a nice change of pace. Due to this, the movie might not be perfect, but thanks to its animation, music, and getting to watch Gohan kick ass, I also give this one a 6/10 stars. |

What kind of Sci-Fi anime is it? I've been wanting to check it out some time.

Pretty much has mechs vs aliens type stuff but the aliens are slightly bigger then the mechs themselves. (And creepy looking too)

I was original going to check it out, but then I found out it was based on a manga. While there is nothing wrong with that, I've come to the decision that I'm going to try to avoid watching an anime based on a manga until after I have read the manga. I'm just tired of having either countless filler or just having the story leave off. I fell in love with Attack on Titan thanks to reading the manga first, so that is my new decision from now on. I'm even going back and reading the manga to series I have only watched in anime form (like DB).
