They try to bring Sentai twice in the 80s. Stan Lee's dub of Sun Vulcan and Saban's Bio-Man (Which would have been a mix between Japanese and American footage). They would have done well in the 80s if they marketed them well enough.
Even the producers that turn down Stan Lee's Sun Vulcan admits that they regret doing it after how big of a hit that MMPR would become over a decade later.

English-dubbed Utena makes the experience even more surreal.

Battle Fever J was the closet thing that we got. I think history will be very different if we had got Sentai in America pre-1993. There's a chance that Stan Lee's Sun Vulcan or Saban's Bio Man could have flopped and we would never see anything Sentai related again.
As much as I dislike MMPR, it helps introduced many people into Toku and this site would probably not exist without it. I'm happy how things are today.

I'd like to see a astrology-themed sentai with some few influences from Sailor moon.

Well, you already have an astrology themed sentai. *points to Kyuranger* But the influences from Sailor Moon? Like, you looking for planetary based Sentai?

What happened with me was I watched most of Power Rangers first. What got me mostly going on it was Saban and Shout were releasing the source shows. I got the one used for MMPR II first as we never saw those Morphed outfits. Power Rangers used them twice for Super Mega Force. I felt like I now had all the PR teams on DVD after that. That team sort of felt like a "Lost" team of Rangers. Power Rangers felt more completed after that.
