Just got done reading the "Sins from the Future" comic and I gotta say, I didn't really like this one.
I actually rather dug the concept that the comic was originally going with, but then the entire thing goes totally off the rails and they retcon not just a bunch of things established in Time Force proper, but the Ranger mythos as a whole. Overall it's not horrible, but man, this is probably the first time that the comics have really let me down. I guess read it if you're a big fan of Time Force? But even then I feel that big PRTF fans really wouldn't appreciate the retcons the comic introduces, so I dunno. Look up a synposis and read it if it sounds interesting to you, I guess.

I'm not really much of a comic or manga reader anyway I'm afraid, I struggled to get a complete manga series in order where I live quite some years ago now so I just sort of gave up lol

I’ve read it. To be honest, the only really major retcons I found was []Frax creating Venomark and supposedly creating Zordon[]. To be honest, considering I wasn’t that invested in Might Morphin’ or Time Force, I’m not really bothered. I was okay with the last graphic novel (which was a LOt more controversial on Tokutwitter), so I’m okay with this one.

Wait, Soul of the Dragon was controversial? I loved it personally.
Though I guess I shouldn't be surprised. People apparently hated the Beyond the Grid arc, whereas I felt it was perfectly fine for what it was.

Ah right, The Psycho Path did come out after SotD.
My thoughts on that one was that I was dead neutral. Though atleast there I can kinda see what would make people mad about it.

Well I’ve just watched the end of Lord Arcanon in Dino Super Charge… yeah, it’s pretty anticlimactic and ignoble for the guy responsible for all this. And it’s painfully obvious the end of the Megazord fight was tacked on in Power Rangers because the Sentai fight didn’t have an end. (Kind of the inverse with a fight in Lightspeed Rescue, where they cut off the end of a fight).

Oh, I'm not denying the Dino Supercharge finale was kind of bad but I could tolerate it given I had enjoyed the show overall!

I think that the point of the main finale of Dino Supercharge was to provide a solid defeat while keeping the door open for Sledge's return; play it both ways so you can have the best of both worlds! However, it unravels the entire show in a near instance and is effectively one of the darkest moments in the franchise (cause there isn't any indication that the people of that particular Earth survived)! It also begs another more complicated question: we know that the timeline is warped by the end, but what happened to the Rangers of that particular timeline since the team we know is from the pre-warped timeline? Dino Force Brave/Kyoryuger Brave anyone!? |

Just got done reading the MMPR/TMNT crossover.
And it. Was. AWESOME!!! I loved the character interactions, the high amount of energy, and also the various lampshades of the sillier aspects of both franchises, while also honoring them and making them work well with one another with what seemed like no extra effort. It made reading the whole thing alot of fun! I also found it interesting how, while all of the MMPR apsects are kept as one would expect, when it came to the TMNT, these versions of the Turtles seemed to combine various aspects of both the 80s and 2003 versions, kinda making me want a comic based around this specific version of the universe. The crossover ending on a massive sequel hook helped with that. Overall, a fun read and I recommend it to fans of both franchises!
