I use a combination of both and a few other types. For yellow and the latoratah combo I used enamel for the most part. red, pink and batta legs were what ever flavor of paint citadel layor is. Silver, sagozo and the rest are just genaric paint markers from a craft store and all of them tend to have an acrylic finish on them to lock in color. I still have no idea what I'm doing...

I suggest that you do. It would certainly help make the paint a little more consistent and less thick. Also consider getting a primer or base coat, it'll help make the paint stick on and make imperfections more noticeable.
For citadel paint, you just thin them using water and I believe you can get enamel thinner from Wal Mart. I'm still trying to work out the whole thinning ratio thing myself but from what research I've done on it, it's usually a 1:1 ratio. You're looking for a consistency that looks like milk. As for painting itself try going in a long back and fourth motion to help evenly apply it. I should be the last person to offer any kind of painting advice, but this is what I usually do when I paint Gunpla. |

I was supposed to have two fodder, but due to a massive error with my order I only have one. So I propose a question to all of the people who still follow this (I'm not going to poll this. i'm lazy) Do y'all want: Gokai Blue! The cold, calm, collected swordmaster and second in command, Joe Gibken! or Gokai Green! The somewhat cowardly doctor and gun man, Don Dogoier! I have both BASwords and BAGuns. it really matters not. Edit: *cricket noise* Ok. I'm done with Blue... Last edited by nikinaga; 02-15-2014 at 03:26 PM.. |

I'm going to update because it's 12:30 and things are done.
The Snafu with the shipping is done with. Doc is just waiting to be painted at this point, but that has to wait until tomorrow. Pics may be beta due to my camera battery not wanting to charge at all and my 3DS having poor resolution. all will be sorted out in time. Gundam OOO is about to get somemore love as I now have an Age-1 Spallow. I'm leaning towards a Shauta but Tajadol is nit out of the question. I'd have to figure that out really quickly. Oh, and Tora arms have beam-saber claws. So that we have Shauta(possibly Tajadol) out of the way, last two combos will have to be Full Gransa as Putotyra and Razor as Burakawani. I'm open to suggestions though. Oh and there is a Decade in the works... Thanks for looking! |

If you need ideas for Taador, I've seen someone use Strike Freedom, Chaos Gundam and 00 Quanta.

Happy early Green Ireland Day! I did not plan for things to line up like this, but hey it had to happen some time.
P.S. Like the sasquatch, this is only a myth. So I got a terrible, grainy and out of focus pic. Soon... Soon... |
