I could care less about swearing or crusades or innapropriatness or whatever. That has nothing to do with anything. Its about the quality of the sub. This one is bad because it clearly misinterprets what the character is saying. Just like OTs terrible dialogue for Catsith phantom which was completely improvised and ridiculous. And if you dont want to read about petitions or BS of any kind just use the TVN torrent tracker. Click download and your done, its that easy, you never have to go to the actual site if you dont want to.

This. I don't even bother with the main site, I just have the torrent tracker bookmarked.

In theory thats all well and good, but regardless I'll take OT over TV-N.

By way of Example. My wife and I watched the first 3 episodes of Akibaranger from OT, when I had some friends over I booted up the TV-N subs, after a few minutes my wife says "Are these different subs? The Grammar is terrible!"

Thats pretty much what made my choice there.

As for people who say they don't care about TV-N crusades...good for you....but I was around back in 04', those were ugly days.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I definitely prefer Over-Time over TV-Nihon... when I have the option. While it would be nice if Over-Time did more past shows, I'm perfectly content with watching TVN's subs for anything that happened earlier.
