Just as The Fairly OddParents proves that fairies are not only for girls since many boys watch that show, I was wondering, does anyone think a Fairy theme for Power Rangers would ever work? Each Fairy Ranger could be represented by a specific element.
Here is an idea that I came up with: Power Rangers Fairy Magic In the world of magical fairies, an attack by the Evil Witches occurs. The world of magical fairies have to use the five elemental wands to help save their world. Five humans are assigned with the task of using the wands to help defeat the Evil Witches, transforming them into elemental fairies. Rangers: Christopher Scott - Pink Fairy Ranger - Christopher (or Chris) is the leader of the group. He is a clever hero, gifted with the power of Air. His love interest is Evelyn the Green Fairy Ranger. He has no issue with wearing pink, as he is confident in his masculinity. He also has a taste for smooth jazz music. Percy Smith - Red Fairy Ranger - Percy is second-in-command of the team. He enjoys bodybuilding, and is gifted with the power of Fire. He also has an interest in sports cars. Michael Dawson - Blue Fairy Ranger - Michael is a young African-American R&B singer, who seeks to make a hit song someday. He is gifted with the power of Ice. Evelyn Rodriguez - Green Fairy Ranger - Evelyn is the love interest of Chris. She is a typical girly girl and has a strong fashion sense. She is gifted with the power of Earth. Cindy Combs - Yellow Fairy Ranger - Cindy is the tomboy of the group. She also enjoys bodybuilding and often hangs out with Percy. She is gifted with the power of Lightning. What does anyone here think about an Elemental Fairy theme for Power Rangers? |

Fairies? That's an odd choice.
I mean, the concept and powers themselves are fine, but why fairies in specific?

Fairly Odd Parents should not even be called a show about fairies.Saban would make the risk of his life going with fairies as a theme.

Well, the Fairly Oddparents is an enjoyed show, no doubt about that, but it's not because of the fairies themselves- it's because of the comedy and the focus of the main character, Timmy Turner. Timmy in a sense was created to reflect on children who are often neglected by their parents due to work, their personal lives, etc. The reason for Cosmo and Wanda being created was a way to show kids what it would be like if the classic idea of the "fairy godparent" was there to help make you happy again. Coupled with Timmy's childish behavior, it also present a means to show one to be careful what they wish for, often ending in an Aesop or moral that would show why a child wouldn't make that kind of wish, while coming up with an alternate solution to the issue he was dealing with in the first place. Take the classic episode from when Timmy de-aged Vicky to be her babysitter. In the end, Timmy learned that he shouldn't treat someone younger than him so negatively, and in the end, allowed the younger Vicky to have fun and enjoy herself.
Your reasoning for applying Fairly Oddparents as proof that fairies are not just for girls since boys watching the show is misconstrued- the show was for kids no matter what their gender was as it has something any child could relate to. Now, onto your concept. It definitely seems interesting, and I would hope you continue on with it in a fan fic. If you do desire to do so, please make the thread in the Fan Fiction thread.

if they can make a series with angels and vehicles with animal heads, a fairy themed team sounds possible

FYI, considering that someone suggested I make a fanfic, I decided to post it on Power Rangers Fanon Wiki:
