I was excited for the White and Omega Rangers but they ended up being kind of disappointing.

So here's a review of Dino Thunder White and we can see what the helmet looks like with the black detailing. It actually looks.....really damn awesome.
https://youtu.be/q5wQ3ZCpwq8 While it's really stupid that Hasbro couldn't add what I'd consider pretty significant paint detailing and that we as consumers shouldn't be forced to fix their error, I'm glad that my only major issue with the figure is easily fixable. But at the same time, it just begs the question of why this figure has such a silly, easily correctable error in the first place. I'm hoping this is just an early production run and that by the time it hits the states, we'll get that black detailing.

While it is nice that the issue is mostly paint related, yet again, like the neck on DC Gold, it's a detail that they really should've prioritized and one that we shouldn't have to fix ourselves. Arguably the most important area when it comes to a figure of any Henshin hero in terms of aesthetics is the neck up.
The Trent head actually looks pretty decent though.

So my package has arrived, and yes, it is as bad as it is.
The worst part is that the sculpt is there, but it is unpainted, or rather, rushed paint. For those of you who knows how tonpaint it might be a saving grace. I painted mine with a Gunpla marker, and at the very least it looks tolerable than the original Also, it took me Trent and Omega to realize that they actually have no neck articulation! Now for Omega Ranger, the Uniforce Cycle is the best part obviously, which means Omega Ranger himself is so disappointing. He doesn't come with fists, and thus you can't really put him in a fighting pose and it is disappointing since Omega Ranger is one of the Rangers that is explicitly a brawler. In fact, you're technically stuck with just posing him on the bike. Another sore spot is that the morpher is unpainted. If it was painted blue I wouldn't mind, but this is Bandai America level of quality. Very disappointing. Ever since they announced Lightning Collection, Omega Ranger hinself is my most anticipated release since they have no Figuarts of him. Future LC releases better change the game otherwise LCs are going to be a one hit wonder.

That sucks that Omega has no fists. It's also odd considering giving them to him would've cost them literally nothing extra. That's Marvel Legends-tier lazy.
And they do have neck articulation, just minor due to how low the helmets sit on them, they can't move much. Especially if the Ranger has armor like MMPR Green or DT White. Pull them up slightly and not only do they look slightly better, but you can move them around better.

I can forgive the changer not being painted but the visor trim on AbareKiller not being painted is absolutely unforgivable like seriously wtf. BoA was lazy but they were never that damn lazy

So apparently someone found a Dino Charge Black ranger LC figure at Target. It has a black box instead of a white box so it seems to be target exclusive.
Hasbro seems to just be releasing LC figures now with no fan fare. And still no wave 6 details either. |

Honestly... even though it's completely unintentional I prefer this.
I miss the days of like... when hype culture wasn't a thing and we'd just discover things. When they'd completely take us by surprise. That's awesome, and I get the same feeling from this!

Same. I miss that about my childhood. Going to Walmart or the Mall and finding new stuff completely out of the blue. Hell, I remember when Zeo toys appeared on the shelf way before the season itself aired, I thought they were bootleg or something. XD
