Twenty years ago today, children across America were introduced to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and their awesome DinoZords. To commemorate the occasion, Tokunation.com brings you a gallery of the original 1993 deluxe Megazord!
Some facts about the original Megazord release: * Stands approximately 11.5 inches tall * Has 4 points of articulation * Weighs 1 pound, 10 ounces * Originally retailed on average for $39.95 in 1993. Allowing for inflation, the price today would be $64.58. Enjoy the gallery and as always, Go Go Power Rangers! Want TokuNation.com updates on the go? I love the classic Megazord, no doubt, but the improved proportions of the 2010 Megazord wins me over.
Doesn't feel as boxy or chunky.

Never did get to own one of these bad boys - I could never find it when it was in stores in the 90s, or in 2010 with the reissue. Always loved the design, though. That and something about the Thunder Megazord is just awesome to me.
All I ever actually owned of the combiners was the Ninja Megazord and Shogun Megazord, which I loved just fine. Anyway, thanks for posting this - a fine addition to your toy galleries! |

I want one of these. Totally cool.
I think Saba or Dragon Dagger life size replicas with figures are coolest. They also cost the most of MMPR vintage toys. |

The Original Megazord. Just classic.
But... The Legacy Megazord is a tad better. |

I still have this guy back at home
I think he's missing a few stickers and the sword isn't the chromed version, but it's still good.
