Although I like to think Rider comes with more originality than sentai, the core outline of both the heroes, powers and the villains is usually more similar than perhaps I want to admit.
With this years Gaim once again set in a fictitious city, with a horribly rendered CGI monument slapped into the scenery shots and is once again pitting a team of heroes against some kind of evil corporation, who literally use the evil corporations tech against them...is it possible Foundation X can rise again? A lot of what is really going on with Yggdrasil and who is behind everything is pretty clouded in mystery and although it seems very unlikely, only a few seasons ago they seemed to be bigging Foundation X up as some big bad for the entire Riderverse. Would be a shame if that was just dropped. Poster note: As toku is niche, it isn't like you can just stumble on production details so I really don't know much about Foundation X outside of how it was portrayed in the show nor do I really know much about what goes on outside of these shows other than what is shared here. So if there's a really obvious reason for why they must be one hundred percent finished...I apologise, I wasn't trying to be stupid. I am just intrigued, coming fresh off of W.

I've been wondering the same thing. They just sort of...disappeared after Fourze.

Foundation X is pet project of the producer behind W and Fourze. He hasn't worked on Rider for a couple of years so there's been no real advancement of that storyline. And now with Gaim apparently going back to the standalone nature of the pre-W era, I'm not sure we'll ever see Foundation X again. It's something that happens when you don 't have a consistent creative team on a franchise.

^ What he said.
I think it might also be the fact that Toei doesn't think that Foundation X sells movies. In the Heisei vs Showa movie coming up, they went to the Badan empire as the villains. Badan, you know, those guys from all of the Kamen Rider manga and that appeared in that one ZX TV specia.l Rather then Foundation X, which has been integrated into a few Post Decade shows and movies and is more recent in the viewers' mind? |

Although having fresh eyes on each new season - to an extent - is a good thing, it is kinda a shame there isn't one overriding voice to streamline the continuity. I'd have loved for Neo Heisei to have this same villain running through it all. It would have made for especially great effect in the films where Rider's crossover and pop up in one another's stories and worlds.

Ever since the Fourze x Wizard movie, I was hoping for Foundation X to return.
Perhaps they would've used... - The astro & zodiarts switches + - Wizard rings + Phantom's magic to unleash something diabolical. |

Didn't Eiji kill the leader in one of the movies. The guy that stole the Poseidon Medals? Maybe that just caused the group to disband and pursue their own projects. Like one guy that discovered this alternate dimension with some funny flora...

They really need to make them the villains for the movies.

At least. Given how all of them are crossovers, even when not marketed as such.
