The Deathgaliens will have to wait; there's a more important issue this week- Sela has fallen in love!
Look out for special guest star Hiroaki Iwanaga, better known as Kamen Rider OOO's Date Akira! As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts.
Live Streams of the Superhero Time block start at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. |

So here's a pretty good summary for this episode:
"Kubar lets Willy Wonka loose so he can master his one-handed skill in order to steal all the Waifu's" Yeah this one was weird. Not bad but weird. I was a little bit iffy on the portrayal of Sela here, especially the "typical girl behaviour", but hey, Japan. And rather fittingly they’re about to tackle male stereotypes immediately in the next episode. The episode did have some funny stuff though, Micchan drives it home as usual, and I’m really interested in Kubar’s plans. Also… I f*cking knew it! I knew I’ve seen this face before! I forgot to look it up but this is it! Now I'm rather embarrassed that I didn’t recognize him, I loved him as Date in OOO. |

I know I shouldn't be using actual logic in toku, but shouldn't everyone who eats that shit die immediately of heartburn or something?

I know you're trying to have a touching scene, but it kind of loses all weight (See what I did there?) when one of the characters is in a giant bounce ball covered in clothes...
Episode was alright. I loved Misao, as per usual. Sela having emotions was rather nice, too. Date's actor is always welcome to guest star (Or hell, fully star) when he wants, in my book. I like that Kubar is doing things again, even if it's just learning the limitations of what the hand can do. I guess he didn't know that the memories tend to act on their own, as evidenced with Yamato's mom and the Sela and Tusk clones before.

This episode was pretty awful and rather pointless. The fat suits were hideous (how come Kakuranger and Carranger could do it better and those show were 20+ years ago?).
The monster was terrible too and the boyfriend part was lame. |
