My source informs me that the Beast Morpher rangers will have giant robots called zords. And get this — those zords will combine in one giant megazord! I also hear that an evil organization will send monsters down to earth on a weekly basis. And when they’re defeated at normal size, the evil organization will make said monster grow to giant size. Last bit — this is mind-boggling, hold onto your hats — about halfway through the show extra rangers show up! I know it’s not a lot to go on, but judging by precedent set by the last ten series, my source is pretty confident their colors will be silver and/or gold. You heard it here first, everyone. #grainofsalt Last edited by Kamen Rider Lucha; 07-03-2018 at 04:09 PM.. |

Precise details on something that hasn't aired are absolutely spoilers yes. If I posted Infinity War spoilers here I'd have a ridiculously large amount of angry people at me despite it being obvious. I'm using IW as an example considering it's source material and the fact I saw it a few days before Americans

It’s more like... imagine it’s six years from now and you got mad at me for saying that Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man were in the movie Infinity War. Except even less offensive than that, cause I didn’t even use gold and silver’s actual names — it’d be more like if I said a teenage super hero and a woman spell caster were in it at some point. Don’t you think that would be a little silly? Go-Busters has been out there for 6 years. When you google it, the first thing you see is an image of all 5 busters. Even when you watch the Licensing Expo 2018 sizzle for Beast Morphers, you see gold. If you come to this thread, about Kyuranger for heaven’s sake, and get salty about knowing that there are gold and silver go-busters, I don’t know how to act other than incredulously. I think there’s a pretty big difference between pointing to a six year old show’s use of a franchise formula that hasn’t been significantly deviated from in decades and spoiling the ending of Infinity War before it’s released worldwide.

Right? 3: Even then your example is pretty shoddy, brand new characters that appear halfway through a show which holds up as a standalone thing isn't the same as saying 2 popular characters are in a movie which is hyped up as a climax of sorts of a 10 year old movie franchise in which those characters appeared before? 4: Go Busters is at least 6 years old yes, but how old is Beast Morphers? Oh right! It hasn't aired! 5: So because you can google the name of a fictional character and "Death" pops up in the suggestions, that means said character's death isn't a spoiler?

So let me think a little here (personal opinion abounds):
- "Ghost Ranger": Suggested as either Beet or Stag Busters adaptation, but also Kamen Rider Ghost! Honestly, I don't think a Rider will be adapted right out the door! I do believe that the Riders should receive another adaptation, and be firmly supplanted into the PR Multiverse, but this isn't the time, nor do I fully think that "Ghost" means that a Rider will now be a Ranger! - "Kyu Ranger": This is just supposition, but what if they have to have a trademark on the Sentai so they can use it for adaptation!? That said, I don't think Saban should continue with Sentai if Hasbro has PR, I don't think any adaptation of Kyuranger should involve the name of the Sentai (as it would be hard to market such a term that doesn't have any meaning in the English language), but I also don't think that Kyuranger is the right answer just yet! Honestly, do Go-Busters and then ToQger, and then Lupinranger vs. Patoranger, and then Kyuranger! It's PR, and given what is happening, it doesn't have to follow the same chronological aspects of Sentai! It might get a little convoluted, but only if it isn't done correctly! - "Phantom Ranger": Could be for Beet or Stag Buster, but it would be nonsensical as Hasbro as almost surely researched the property they have now purchased, and know that the Phantom Ranger mystery is one of the aspects of Turbo that needs an answer, and while Judd Lynn has given a supposed answer to the Phantom, I don't adhere to it because it makes no sense! Could the Phantom be given a new suit, and supplanted in an adaptation of a separate Sentai? Possible, but another possibility is animation! Rumors of an animated PR have floated for years, and Hasbro has experience with animated properties! Plus, I have a friend who has expressed an interest in such a concept, and it makes sense because like the supposed animated series of Star Trek that has been rumored recently, a cartoon has the ability to explore what live-action cannot! Honestly, I wouldn't be upset if they did an animated Hyperforce cartoon where the team meets the original Phantom Ranger from Turbo/In Space, and reveals his identity! The possibilities are endless! But Beast Morphers came around because of the Hasbro toys acquisition. It'd been a skip otherwise previously. So that knocks any theories out that have to do with Go-Buster. Do agree that's likely not pertaining to a rider but they will likely bring Riders into the Ranger-Verse again somehow, but find a way for them to keep an iconic name of their own. Would make sense though if they tied it to Phantom Ranger as an apprentice or something. And with no Gold/Silver ranger trademarks to go with the basic colors, that also likely removes them from the reasoning. Unless "Ghost" and "Phantom" are for them directly. But there's no "pink ranger" in Go-buster either. And again, Beast Morphers was chosen because Hasbro took over the toy rights. So maybe those were in prep of whatever they were going to do prior to the Hasbro toy acquisition. Which by all accounts did look like Kyu was going to be it then, but now looks like it's been pushed back to after Beast Morphers. Though KR Ghost could have been a thought too at one time, but then they may have decided to hold off on that, keep the trademark for something else to do later, and moved Rider plans to the back burner for now. And more recently, with amazon holding the Rider name rights, they will likely either have to deal with that by renaming, or work with that somehow. But again that was after this was filed, so not likely associated. So it's likely some kind of place holder because they liked the name and may find a use for it somehow later. Though Ghost Ranger could have also been for Toqqer too as a cameo somehow. Or anything else. Maybe even if they were looking into the Ninja cameos for Ninja Steel at some point later once upon a time for the veteran ninja hero. It does go back to 2016, which would have been during the brainstorming for Ninja Steel. On Kyu Ranger, it mentions for merchandise, and they've never had to trademark a show to adapt it before. So that seems unrelated to any plans to do the show. I'm really thinking that was to prep for direct Kyu merchandise brought over, but then plans got delayed there between things so it got pushed back. Which could also explain the "Phantom Ranger" one though, if they were thinking about bringing him back for the Kyu adaptation back then. But if that's the case, you'd think more ranger colors would have been done too. And on Phantom Ranger, I concur. That mystery should be explored, and the 25th anniversary of that mystery is coming up too. It's not cannon until it's done in a show. So any 'outside blank filling' doesn't count and it's fair game for the media to approach through any medium. Which may also explain the absence from the comics. As they are waiting for the TV side to decide first, and then will run with that with the comics. He kind of is the "wolverine" of the Ranger lore with how he has a complete blank slate backstory, while Blue Senturion was more like "Cable" or "Bishop" with how he was a time traveler. It is really convenient that the 25th anniversary for Phantom ranger(PR Turbo/season 5) falls on the 30th for Season 1 MMPR though. Marketing-wise, it'd be smart to use that to their advantage. I just want to point out, that these aren't exactly spoilers since there's absolutely no context as to what they are pertaining to, aside from being names. Let's not forget that Phantom Ranger already exists. It's been around since the 90's. He was originally called the VR Master in CarRanger. As Librarian pointed out.
