EDIT: Tokufun didn't work, so I guess I won't be watching this season of kamen rider. This is why we need a dedicated FREE platform to stream toku Last edited by OmegaEclipse; 09-10-2021 at 10:27 AM.. |

Is your internet connection particularly slow? I don't have great internet myself and single episodes take something like 10-15 minutes. Some groups have also been uploading 720p versions that are half the file size

Also, they got letters from lawyers recently for simply hosting a blog where they collect links to their stuff, what do you assume happens if they let people stream this content on their web space? No, what we need is an official streaming service, for which I would gladly pay money. |

the problem is that torrenting takes forever for one episode that I end up deleting afterwards with the risk of subgroups getting lazy and making the subs a seperate file that means I have to do the legwork to watch the episode. We wouldn't have this issue if the subgroups would just let us stream the videos rather than forcing us to torrent.
EDIT: Tokufun didn't work, so I guess I won't be watching this season of kamen rider. This is why we need a dedicated FREE platform to stream toku there's also literally always someone that uploads the subbed episodes. even though we were basically told to start merging files ourselves, I literally have never had to. like I said, this franchise is popular enough that someone will probably do the work for you. sorry but if you are relying on garbage streaming sites then you are living in the past. |

rider is MORE than popular enough that people are always seeding which means downloads could never be slow. I've torrented episodes on my phone's mobile data. you wasted enough time looking for a good streaming site(here's a hint - there isn't one), you can afford the time to torrent.

No shade, I'd like to help, but would you not be willing to pay for official DVDs/Blurays either? If the answer is no, then I'm afraid to say this is a situation where the show is going to get less and less atainble through the methods you prefer
As it stands, while it's a slow burn, and has been at times confusingly inconsistent, toei is venturing into official western releases more, and as they do fansubbers (for the most part) are going to be deleting their releases of the subs On top of that toei has clearly become a lot more willing to bring out their lawyers over fansubs, so it's hard for me to imagine that any sites streaming the shows directly, or that host direct downloads of the show, will survive through the next 5-10 years especially if the show continues to grow it's official western presence Now if you're in the USA or Canada at least the series shout has subbed so far (1971, and Kuuga) are free to stream with ads, and soon Ryuki will be added as well, and then most likely Zero-One will be streaming on shout once the physical release comes around In the USA specifically but NOT any other part of North America, Agito and 555 are actually subbed on "TOKU" a channel you can add onto Amazon Prime for an extra $3.99/month (which sounds like it isn't an option for you, but feels worth mentioning for the subject as a whole) Why toei is currently splitting series between two different companies for the western release, and why they aren't available to more regions, is beyond me, but that's a bigger discussion In any case, if you're outside of North America then I think it is going to slowly become a lot harder to watch rider, at least "for free", over the next 5-10 years, that's my prediction anyways. My hope is that they get all of the show on YouTube or Shout and unlock it for basically every county that doesn't get Kamen Rider already, that'd be great, but it seems DVDs, region locked on shouts website, and paid streaming networks are what toei has their eyes on And if rider ever starts getting simul subbed the fansubs will probabaly just stop entirely, at which point paying for the show will be the easiest option It's a shame that you can't watch revice since you clearly want to, but that may just be how it is going forward for anyone relying on anything besides torrents and official releases I will give you some pro-tips for if you try torrenting again tho, if you set a torrent's priority to high it should download faster, it just may use literally all you're bandwidth, torrents also go the fastest if you're not using the internet for anything else, if it's an option I'd say try to download them when you're the only one in your home using the internet, and just do something offline (or something that uses very little bandwidth like a podcast for example), and if you have any always online devices in your home that you don't need on during that time consider turning them off. Do some of or all of that until the file is done downloading, then it should go at least a bit faster that way, maybe that'll make it a more viable option for you. Since you have low internet speed also make sure you don't seed torrents (I.e. you should hit "stop" on a torrent even after its done downloading) if you have things seeding that also uses bandwidth A good option is also to leave torrents downloading over night, this is especially a good option if you want to download multiple torrents at once Also if you're fine with the 360p on streaming sites consider getting SD torrents when possible, those are usually in 480p (which is a big improvement over 360p) and have substantially smaller file sizes, if there's no SD option look at various releases and see what their file sizes are and go for the smallest option Last edited by TheJaz; 09-11-2021 at 10:22 AM.. |

the funny thing is torrenting is easier and more reliable than these shitty streaming sites who think they're doing you a favor by charging you 9 bucks a month to watch in 720p
I like to think we've all come a long way from watching the series' on kissasian and henshin fever's facebook page I'm sorry but there just is no excuse to not torrent nowadays. I've had garbage internet, too. kamen rider episodes are less than 700 megabytes. even if you had an absolute garbage download speed of 150 kilobytes per second, it'd take about an hour and 20 minutes. all the work that came with torrenting has been done for us to enjoy. we live in an age where we can have our cake and eat it Last edited by Chasing; 09-10-2021 at 02:03 PM.. |

Tone the aggression back a bit, please. I have gotten the message clear enough that kamen rider isn't for me anymore. Those "garbage streaming sites" are the best way to watch them in my opinion because rather than having to jump through hoops to watch one episode, I can just click a link and begin watching. Torrents are rather slow on my end and ever since we switched providers to Verizon, the connection randomly drops, so if I can't stream it, I can't watch it most likely.
To Kiwami, I wouldn't pay for a streaming service. FYI, all the pirate streaming sites are incredibly sketchy and, unless you're running a VPN and adblocker, you're exposing yourself to all sorts of malware and potential hacking that a trusted torrent source won't expose you to. It's gonna be a lot easier (and cheaper) in the long run to download toku torrents from nyaa than it will be to cancel all of your credit cards, change all of your passwords, and pay the ransomware fee if you get hacked by a streaming site. Well, I was stunned by how much I liked this debut! I was worried by how goofy the trailer came off - but, then, Ex-Aid also had a "concerning" trailer and I absolutely loved that season.
The plot is off to a great start; the family is interesting, the setting is bizarre and our protag is charmingly dorky but switches into badass mode pretty damn fast. The brother is probably going to make a bad contract and be a villain and Vice will probably be an issue throughout. Wouldn't be shocked if the sister becomes a Rider at some point. So far so good, imo.
