Kinda small, but it's fun looking through episodes, and using the surroundings to find the area of Auckland used for specific scenes. I found 4 just looking around Google Maps. I used to do this all the time when I looked for Dawson's Creek locations in North Carolina.
The first one is a little weird. I can only find the shot of Jake dancing in front of the fountain. It's a park in front of the University of Auckland. However, when it shows a shot away from the fountain of Emma and Noah, the buildings in the background don't match where the path was heading. So they must've used a different location.

Wow. It's pretty cool that you could figure this stuff out. I imagine you looked for shots with unique buildings and went from there, right. Still impressive.

Basically, yeah. I've done that kind of thing a lot before because I'm a huge Dawson's Creek fan and it was filmed 2 hours from where I live. I took hundreds upon hundreds of pictures of locations of common places from the show and from all random scenes I found just by matching up locations or asking residents of the area for clues.
I found some more Megaforce: I also found the mall they say is where Ernie's is at. It's Botany Town Centre in Auckland. Most people I talk to confirm that the inside shots are a set, and not the actual mall. The exterior shots are from the actual mall. Megaforce: Botany Town Centre:
