Lucky has been brutally beaten by Don Armage, and the Orion is too badly damaged to return to the future. Tsurugi may know the secret to saving their lives...
As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts.
Live Streams of the Superhero Time block start at 5:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. |

Huh. I would not have seen Xiao Bao as the one who had to stay in the past. Or Orion passing. This might be one of the first times that time travel has had some actual serious consequences in a Sentai.

Man, I love Kyuranger. Few shows can successfully have their cake and eat it too. Everybody talks about how great Lucky is, he gets a shiny new toy, and saves the day, and yet I don't find myself feeling like too much attention is being given to him.
For one thing, looking at the big picture, there's huge stretches of the show where he's largely in the background (at least by the standards of a Red in Sentai), so episodes like this are more the exception than the rule, but even the episode itself does a great job of showing that none of this crap could even happen without the other guys. Tsurugi I think especially shined here, since him going so far for Lucky is a huge show of his growth since his debut. Letting everyone else do the obligatory mecha fight instead of just standing around while Shishi Red Orion fights everyone was another inspired touch. Combine all that with a surprisingly somber death (even if they stole Ex-Aid's *drama* rain), and the always fun little touches Kyuranger does (I love Champ patting Stinger on the shoulder as he walks over to Xiao), and you've got yourself a great episode. Next week doesn't look like a slouch either.

Really nice conclusion to this whole time travel plot line. Lucky and Tsurugi got some pretty great character scenes to them. Killing Orion seems like a pretty ballsy move though given what we know of the final mecha, I have the sneaking suspicion that he might come back. Shshi Red Orion debut was really cool. Yeah it's basically Kiwami Arms but that doesn't stop the fight scene from being great and I can't wait to see what other moves it can pull in the future. Also I'm so glad that they didn't go for a whole Lucky is actually Orion's son twist, instead just settling on being his descendant. It would've really mess things up timeline wise if they went that. Granted the timeline already seems messed up since Jark Matter apparently still exist in present time.

Yeah, still holding the idea that the real leader of Jark Matter is Madakko, constantly reviving the others while constantly coming back to life herself.
Okay, likely not gonna happen, but still XD |

This series continues to impress me. It's becoming part of my Top 3 with Gokaiger and Kyoryuger.
Great episode. Shishi Red Orion is amazing.

Yep, Shishi Red Orion look pretty darn cool.
For some reason I thought he was more silver than white, so that was a pleasant surprise. He definitely stands out but in a good way. And I actually kind of like Lucky being Orion's descendant. It at least lets the power up make sense.

I like Don Armage's design.
The white form of Lucky is pretty cool. Oh, but um... how come it was raining and yet the water didn't seem to be hitting anyone? |
