For fans of Bandai's very selective and very expensive diecast & plastic action figures.
This series gave me the Teknoman figures I'd been wanting for over a decade, and I am counting hours and pennies to the release of "SOL-Tekkaman." http://yokattaweb.jp/store/preorder/...man-sol-2.html |

Sentai Tamashii, did you purchase Rowen? I'm on the fence of getting him and Sage. Any thoughts of the figures thus far?

I'm all over this thread. I'm a huge fan of the Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers figures, but I'm not very appreciative of them being Tamashii Web exclusives
Black Six, I love the figures. If you're a fan of the show I would definitely recommend them if you have the funds. Just some quick thoughts: Pros: Absolutely beautiful colors and all-around top-notch paint work. Good amount of diecast - on par with the bronze saints from saint cloth myth from my understanding (Sentai Tamashii feel free to refute this if it's inaccurate). Diecast except for parts of the chest armor, the helmet, and the wrist/arm guards. Great articulation with diecast feet for stability They can form the armor in chair mode! Cons: Putting the armor on/off can be a little finicky. It's not too bad after a time or two, but be careful. The base body looks anorexic and lanky. Price - can't avoid that Those are my thoughts. I can't wait for Sage and Cye in the next few months. The colors on Sage are gorgeous, as is his sword. |

@ Soybean56 - thanks for the feedback. The price of these exclusives have hindered me for getting them.
I love the vibrant colors!!! But do they scratch easily if you're not careful??? |

Not sure about scratching. I've had no issue with scratching through about 3 or 4 armor switches for Ryo and Rowen, but maybe that's because I'm being extra, extra careful. I would say if you're careful, you're fine. They're sturdy though. I've dropped a few of the armor pieces onto a table or carpet from a few inches away and everything's ok.

I didn't get the re-release of Ryo because I have the first version already, but other than that I have every single release thus far and have the other that are available on preorder. Soyabean is right, Armor Plus is basically Saint Seiya Myth Cloth for lines outside of the Saint Seiya franchise, a lot of diecast metal pieces mixed in with gorgeously colored plastic pieces, these things are indeed a work of art, and very pose-able at that. They do get expensive, expect to pay at least $100 per when it comes to the exclusive figures.
