I’ve only seen one movie with Space Sheriff Gavan. I don’t even remember which one it was but it was a cross over with either Kamen Rider or Sentai. That being said, he has a very plain design but not a bad figure.

While I definitely wouldn't get this figure because I'm still meh on the idea of Figures of characters outside their transformations, I can see why this would be a popular choice because of the history of the character.
Not to mention having him beside the Gavan Figure definitely feels and looks good. |

I know I complained about the untransformed figuarts, but Kenji Ohba is just an all around bada$$ so I would definitely get this.

Are they planning more figuarts figures of heroes outside of their suits?
I'd imagine obviously likeness issues would play a huge key, though I don't know how that stuff works overseas versus Hollywood movies and TV shows.

The printed faces always look kinda weird in pics, but in-person they really do look nice. |

It's pretty spot-on but nothing about the un-transformed figures really tickles my fancy.

This is like an instant-buy for me. I need more alter-ego forms.

Love seeing more human rider figures coming out of Bandai now. The transformation screens are awesome too. Definitely some fan love here.

I really love these human figures they've been releasing, and this is no exception. I haven't seen Gavan though, so the appeal is a little lessened for me Still, it's a nice looking figure with a lot of detail. However, I can't help but notice that he's a tad cross-eyed. I'm sure it's hard to get the eyes on there perfectly, but it's still a thing
