Dr.Maki is back. Gouraiger/Masao is the new villain. The annoying 4C duo are alive. Pretty terrible movie. It's like xmen continues to revisit the same formula again. Humans continues to research on Amazon. Amazon's instinct is to kill and eat humans to satisfy their hunger and thirst. Haruka wants to play both side. Jin wants to kill. The higher up have their own selfish agenda. The defense unit are either indifferent asshole on ground or way too empathetic. The Amazons cycle just never end. The issues continues to come and go. It's relatively comparable to real issues we have nowadays, but the way the script is written is just poor entertainment. The best was still Amazon s1. S2 come close near the end to end it properly. The movie was unnecessary in the way it took the story. I don't know if they'll ever do another dark and mature rider series with the blood and profanity to compete and rival Garo, Jinga. I'm more interest in a akiba ranger style rider series.

You get a point in my book for mentioning Masao, I mean Oscar.

To each his own , I guess. But I actually liked the movie. The story was compelling and we see a conclussion to Jin and Harukas fight. I can see them continuing with the story with another film or TV series. And I really liked the cast, so I don't mind seeing more.
I would've preferred seeing a White Eyed Jin instead of Green, but...oh well. I liked the story and the cult aspect of it. Cults are creepy, man. |

Like s2 derailing to the new cast, which involves mopey teens and annoying new squad leaders. Since they're ending it, they would just wipe them all out both amazons and the jerk cast. It's even less entertaining than s2. The cult aspect is like something out of those old 70s exploitation movies, which is when hippies, creepy cults and gangs made headline worldwide in news. Very dated. If they can't find a cure for the Amazon, then just kill them off and end with haruka + Jin Ko each other. I was expecting some scifi terminator, west world, Apes, I am a legend like take over with Amazons becoming the supreme. Instead we're left with the same problems. Innocent kids suffering from PTSD and urge to eat humans like ghouls and the sick pMonsters exec that keeps want to create and use them for Selfish gains along with the asshole sniper team that have to act super annoying while hunting. |

Well, I liked it enough as it is, but I don't think it's as good as the show thou. Much like True Ending in Ex-Aid, this mostly felt like an extended stand alone episode that's billed as the finale, but unlike TE, actually has closures in a few things. Both Haruka & Jin crossing their own lines (Haruka eating someone and Jin killing a human) and the final battle between them.

Need to see the movie still, but S2 is highly underrated. Crow's story was absolutely magnificent. Though it sounds like the movie strayed from where S3 should have gone, and what the movie should have done, but moderately sounds fitting for a finale to the concept since the extended concepts couldn't be done. |

I agree with Librarian, S2 is very underrated,..Amazons in general I think is underrated because it's more Horror-Toku than it is...(regular?) Toku.
