Another unusual entry in the tokusatsu universe, featuring special agents armed for demon hunting:
http://youtu.be/9eMvOpQqn-I Pretty enjoyable if anyone wants to give it a shot. |

I love this show, and the two other tokusatsu's made by Takara. I plan to re-watch it soon because my viewing schedule for it was really fucked up.

Another thing Ryukendo did different is that they had a set city the Madan Knights protected like Kamen Rider W. At first glance, the parallel with Kamen Rider Blade (Blue swordsman protagonist, Red gunslinger superior, organization supporting them, Black duel-edged weapon wielder who acts like a bad guy but is soft for one lady, etc...) made me think this was going to be bad(Oh and the Kamen Rider Knight look-alike), but in the end had fun with the show. The Key gimmick seemed like a cool thing, and the supporting characters were alright as well. In the end it left me with the impression of a high-budget local hero tv show done well.

It took me a long while to finish watching this series, but it was worth watching. While there is way too much filler, a lot of it being bad, the eps that progress the series' story are quite good. The final arc of the series was really fantastic.

I never heard of this before untill Shocker went on about it in another thread. And I ended up loving it. One thing though: You made the title to short. "RyuKenDo - Toku By Takara That is Awesomely Epic".
