Honestly I don't mind muscled rangers. It's not like I'm going to stand in the store, pass by a good looking figure, and say "... No. He has abs.". I'm not that anal about my toy buying. The figure looks great, it comes with enough accesseries to make me say yes.
And look how good that muscled litho looked we saw a few days ago. And them re-using the body of a thundercat figure, still doesn't bother me. He doesn't have a tail, and I never would've noticed anyway. I skipped the whole TC line of figures. I like it. |

I only wish they used the old gripping hands. I will say when I first saw the original PR figures they impressed the hell out of me and that was...gods...20 years ago now? lol...I do like that figure though.

Now that I agree with. It'd be nice if his hand opened someway, but long as the weapons fit and look alright being held, it wouldn't bother me to much.

I don't care, I just wish Bandai would have the balls to just tell us that Thundercats has been cancelled.

It looks like a knock-off. The muscular body just looks so out of place in this day and age. It was fine in the 80's during the Conan boom, but come on.

I think the muscle bound look came from the packaging art when MMPR exploded here back in the day. I remember seeing comic-style drawings and such on napkins and birthday plates with muscular rangers.
I too would prefer a Figuarts figure but if the double knee joints and other articulation is retained, I might pick this one up because I like the articulation style, and can shoot pics of Jason VS Lion O.

I'm fine with the muscular look if it's like the 4-inch Samurai figures. But this? It's offensively garish.
