Ryuki is far, FAR, FAR better than Dragon Knight could ever possibly be.

Kiva episodes 45 (I think it was 45 anyway...) :
They were really good. That just sucks that Wataru accidentally killed Mio, but come on Mio...you're Queen, one of the most powerful Fangire, and you got taken out by Emperor Form's rider kick while he was holding it back? (Here's why I say he wwas holding back: usually the fangs strike multiple times, yet when it hit Mio, the one striked once) I mean...I know she fell off a cliff, but still. Shima died too...I know he was kind of a jerk...but still...he didn't deserve to die. Also, they showed how Maya got her powers taken away. King=Worst husband ever.

I watched a bunch of Fourze over the weekend. Think it was episodes 26-32-ish. Dang good stuff.
From the guest appearance of Nao Nagasawa (really disappointed that she's not likely to make further guest appearances), to the appearance and destruction of two new Horoscopes. I really liked Cancer, the character. I liked his antagonistic relationship with Libra, I liked his personality, he was fun. Sad to see him go, but I also love the manner in which he was finally dispose of. Aries was interesting, neat that they did it in a different setting than we've seen up to now, I really liked the Meteor part of the story, and it also confirmed to me that Gentaro is just a really great guy. He's disposed of quickly, but the introduction of Cosmic States was really quite impressive, and I liked Virgo's little quip at the end of the episode, that Fourze is almost as strong as she is. maybe if they wanted to defeat Fourze they'd use their big guns from the beginning, rather than letting him get stronger with each episode as they send inexperienced zodiarts after him. |

I've been watching W. At first the costume design bugged me a bit, but the characters likability have more than made up for it.

Alright! I've finally finished Kiva. SO I will post my thoughts on episodes 45-48 as well as my thoughts on the series as a whole.
45:It was good, and it was cool to see Otoya fight against King as Dark Kiva. One thing I don't get is that this is the second (third if you count the movie) time he has met Wataru, yet he still says "what? I don't have a son". I need to say this...Otoya is a trooper. He transformed into IXA countless times, even though he knew it put a strain on his body, he was getting his life energy sucked out of him, then he tranformed into Dark Kiva three times knowing it could kill him. Also Bishop...you killed Mio... 46: I want to say this was the episode where Nago started losing his eyesight...these last few episodes kind of blurred together in my head since I just marathoned them. I don't like how that never got explained, but it was nice of Megumi to tell him not to give up and to support him through his hardship. Bishop was a jerk as always. I wonder why his eyes became white? Shima was also alive, since for some reason Taiga didn't kill him. Also, dang Wataru...someone's on a power trip...I remember Matrix saying that his change happened "overnight" it kind of did, and it kind of didn't. It kind of did since he just became super powerful at the end, but at the same time he was slowly becoming more confident. That was one heck of a comeback Wataru. 47: I...I just don't get Kivat's dad...he said that he would help Taiga, and said all of this stuff about darkness, even though he likes Maya (unless he knew Taiga didn't actually kill her). I do find it kind of funny how he still agrees to let Otoya use him but just said "Don't you value your life?" before biting Otoya (wait...did that happen in episode 46..bah! whatever). I wish that there was more interaction between him and his son. This was also the episode where Otoya dies, but it did show how Jirou, Riki, and...Bashaa went into Castle Doran and how they got to where they are now. 48: Wataru and Taiga keep fighting, and Bishop resurrected the old king (or at least his powers) It's always nice to see Kiva and Dark Kiva fight side by side. I don't get why Wataru was all like "Your sin is my sin" and "you're still my brother' I was like "dude! he killed your mom, who is also his mom...your sin is not his sin!" Then Maya shows up, and she's not actually dead! Yay! So...what? did she just act like she was dead to troll Taiga? Also...what kind of a parent encourages their kids to fight? It was nice to saee Taiga stop being a jerk. It was also cool to see Garuru, Bashaa, and Dogga fight there at the end. I also figured that Nago would get his eyesight back after he beat Bishop, and i'm glad he did. Speaking of Nago, him and Megumi got married, and Yuri's ghost showed up. Kivat looks kind of cut with a top hat, not gonna lie. I liked Riki and Jirou's interactions during that scene...then the Neo-Fangire show up...and that ties into Kiva's next movie, I believe. What's with his bum of a son anyway? So...Kiva is a good series as a whole...with some minor flaws. It still bothers me how Otoya possesing Wataru earlier on in the series was never explained, I really wish that Kivat and Tatsulot got more backstory, and more character development. Same goes for Bashaa and Dogga. The only one who had character development was Jirou. I also wish that the writers didn't forget that Otoya and Wataru had already met. I also think that making Kengo a jerk for that amount of time was stupid. Aside from those flaws...I think it's a solid Rider series. A lot of people complain about the series' melodrama...it didn't bother me at all, personally. Now...the huge question is: Does it dethrone Den-O as my favorite Rider series? No. While I did enjoy it quite a bit, I feel Den-O is superior. In terms of the three Rider series i have completed thus far, i would rate this third. Den-O being first, Fourze being second, and Kiva being third. I would still recommend this Rider series to any kamen Rider fan. Onto Decade!

I'm glad you enjoyed Kiva, and I agree, while it is good, Den-O is better, and Fourze probably is too, the more I see of it the more I like it.
