And how the hell does Rhinox, even with loose knees, make it on the "worst" list? My best figures of this year are probably Generations Springer, Orion Pax, all of Arms Change, and Metroplex. Worst is easily NECA's Pacific Rim figures. They were so hard to find, cost anywhere from $17 to $25, and were possitively primitive. Soft sculpts, half-assed paint jobs, and barely any mobility. While I can't think I anything that I truly hated this year, my favorite thing from 2013 was DX Plezuon. I love the designs, and the color scheme is fantastic.

Best: Transformers Generations Springer. Great toy and a much-needed revival of the Triple Changer concept.
Worst: Kyoryuzin. Looks OK but fails due to ineffective clips that ruin any long-term play value. |

Best: Either the Renewal Black, Orion Pax, or Year of the Horse Pinkie Pie
Worst: Minipla Black Lion. Why, oh why, did you have to be made out of the gold plastic that crumbles at the touch? I broke mine as I was building it. Thankfully, super glue fixed it right up, and luckily, I have 2 (Now 1 is only used for lion display, and 1 is only used for combining). Brushable Chrysalis. Paper crown? Boo. Celestia repaint? Boo. Badly implemented holes in the hooves? Boo. DX Kyoryujin. I almost bought this thing on multiple occasions after having fun with the Tobaspino Minipla, but every time I do, it takes just one video review to remind me how crappy this thing is. Barebones transformation, obnoxious sounds, easily broken, and everyone trying to justify it's crappiness with weak excuses all come together for a POS toy.

Absolute best toy this year, is Metal Build Gundam 00-Raiser, it's such an amazing piece of engineering, and the detail on the sculpt and paint is awesome!
Best Figuart is either Ryuga/Dragblacker or Abyss, and I'd lean towards Abyss just because I had so much fun with him when I did the gallery, putting him in silly poses, giving him every blue accessory I could find easily. Plus, I think he has as many paint apps as Ryuga/Dragblacker together. Worst toy, unfortunatly, was MAFEX Batman. What a floppy pile of crap. Do you remember in Toy Store, when Woody was in Syd's room, and he heard Syd coming, he just flopped down on the floor like a rag doll? That's what my MAFEX Batman does, far too often. I can sometimes get him to take a pose, as long as it's not too far off a pain old standing pose, but if I breathe too heavily, FLOP. What a disappointing figure. |

Loose knees are super easy to fix, though.

As for him being worst, not really, but biggest letdown yeah.As for fixing it,yeah a collector can.A kid can't. I've finally decided on a worst, and it just has to be the Headder cycles. There's no point to them,it raises the price point to where you have to pay about 15 bucks for about 5 bucks worth of headders, and it comes with an extremely cheap, non posable Ranger.Would've been much better if they just sold the headders separate for maybe 5,heck they could've kept the function of some of the originals and charged 10.I would've bought them.
