Could be awesome if we have a sea-themed sentai with a carrier mecha like ginga bitus.

Does Sentai ever make design choices that cater to Power Rangers? Like Gobusters having qwerty keyboards in their cockpits and Kyoryuger having the zord name in English on the wall.

In Kyoryuger the names of the Mecha are written in english (or rather romaji since the names are still japanese) yes but like we can see from the Toys the Zords in Dino Charge have completely different names. So you have "Kyoryuzin" in big letters behind the Rangers but the Robot in the show is called the Dino Charge Megazord. Last edited by ElConvoy; 12-29-2014 at 02:33 PM.. |

Unless they film their own cockpit scenes.

Yes they could still do that but then this would pretty much just be the same as my previous example. The names not being written in the japanese alphabet is just there for aesthetic reasons and not because of power rangers.

Same reason why the Timeforce badges have the kanji from Timeranger on them.

I know two season which "referenced" PR. Gokaiger. One Dekaranger morph used a visual helmet change that SPD did not I think.
And of course like all of Gobusters had references. |

Yup Gokaiger had nods to PR like the Dekranager/SPD Change and the Go-Onger/RPM changes used some attacks they frequently used in RPM. That was because of the director of this episode Koichi Sakamoto working on the power ranger shows as well.
Yup Go-Busters had plenty of those as well namely "Its morphin Time" and the enemy robots being called Megazords. |
