Officially, his name is romanized as Blood Stalk. But because no-one at Toei really keeps track of those things (plus he was around for several weeks before it got confirmed), Blood Stark is pretty common. I'm a fan of Brad Stark myself.

Stalk was the spelling used in the show, shown on camera when he sent the protagonists an email.

Because that doesn't say a thing about it. What IS pretty definitive, however, is this nifty trading card from episode 11 being held by Takumi Katsuragi in a video titled "FILE No. 002 BLOOD STALK": And I mean, he created the guy, so I think he knows what he's talking about. Honestly, "Stalk" sounds way better anyway. It's just an inherently sinister word.

Don't the Japanese often mix up "L" and "R" anyway? For all we know if could be "Stark" and they just keep misspelling it. When you write the name in actual Japanese, does it come out as "Stark" or "Stalk"?

The Japanese don't HAVE an L, which leads to lots of fun such as Kamen Rider Gord Drive, Sigma screaming ZELOOOOOOOO in Mega Man X6, multiple arguments about how you're supposed to spell Beerus, Zola, Light, etc. Stalk makes more sence as snakes stalk their prey and Stalk was stalking Sento in a way. The hell is a Stark?
