(I've decided to include a poll just for extra fun. Basically just choose your favourite mecha in this series)
Turbo Robo Turbo Robo feels like it has alot of neat and cool ideas but needed just a bit more fine tuning to their execution. The end result is still alright. The head definitely invokes a racer like vibe to it and the way the torso is formed is kinda neat, with the front of Turbo GT forming the chest while the cockpit of Turbo Truck forms the waist piece. His guns being created from Turbo Truck's smokestacks is also pretty cool. His details in general looks like something you would see out of a G1 Transformer. It is however kinda weird to me that at least 3 components are use just to create the lower legs and feet while everything else is created from Turbo Truck and Turbo GT. Turbo Rugger Aside from the fact that he completely breaks theme with Turbo Robo, Turbo Rugger is pretty cool looking. Very nice colour scheme, being predominantly blue and white with highlights of red. We've also ditched that boxy theme alot of the secondary mechs were having till now which I think is for the best. It was an aesthetic that didn't really work most of the time and Turbo Rugger came out looking better as a result. I especially like the head. Very sleek, very rounded, befitting of his spaceship motif. Super Turbo Robo Not a big fan, like at all. I mean Super Live Robo had a few issues regarding his proportions but this guy takes it to a whole new level. Small shoulders with long and lanky arms, thin legs ending with huge feet, and a large torso with a small head, just everything about him looks wrong. That's not even getting into some of the design issues I have. How about the fact that more 50% of percent of him just consist of Turbo Rugger. You can barely even tell that Turbo Robo is apart of the combination aside from the legs. Speaking of the legs, it does that thing I really hate in a lot of combinations where they don't cover the original feet, making the robot look like it's standing on bricks. So yeah, don't really like him. Turbo Builder Turbo Builder technically falls under the carrier mechs that most of the previous Sentai teams had (I find it funny that Maskman's carrier mech was called Turbo Ranger), but he's the first one to have a robot form so I'm including him here. I really only got one word to describe him, Tank. I mean just look at him. He's biggest mecha we've seen so far and he's got guns everywhere, on his arms, his shoulders, his chest, even his head. He looks built for war. Proportionally, he is somewhat squat looking but I think that adds to his presence and emphasizes just how big he is. Next week, Fiveman |

I love Turbo Robo and Turbo Rugger designs but I dislike Super Turbo Robo design because weird proportion, the arms is too small and strange legs....
It looks really cool if Turbo Robo, RV Robo, and Engine-oh is standing and fight together. Turbo Builder is very cool. This is one of best Super Sentai Base/Headquarter Mecha in my opinion. Turbo Builder's head really remind me to GoGo Voyager's head. Last edited by Blade Fang; 05-25-2017 at 02:47 AM.. |

Turbo easily has some of the best mechs in the whole franchise, if you ask me! |

Turbo Robo is well-composed but Turbo rugger is SLICK. On paper I am sure Super Turbo Robo looked fine but... yep. It is what it is. Turbo Builder is so bad it is good but performance wise I can't complain. Overall Turbo Rugger is the best designed out of the four.
Yes and yes.

Turboranger was a tad awkward at times. They wiped-out much of the main villains mid-way through, and Turbo Builder was infrequently used. Granted, Base Mecha were atypical at that time, but still.

I still prefer carranger designs more probably because of their transformation and individual robot modes.

I am upset. We missed out on a semi-truck being a Zord. What does Uchi have to look forward to now?! Super Turbo Robo looks like a stretched bulky mess, but the rest make me wish we'd gotten this.

The Gokai Machines were useless. Outside of Galleon they never got airtime at all. Daiboken wasn't a semi-truck. It was a bunch of random vehicles glued together into something that vaguely resembled a semi-truck looking thing. PatTrailer I had to google for the same reason. It was so underused I forgot Deka had a damn truck. This is an actual Semi-Cab. It looks like one, it doesn't like a take on one.
