I just posted my first thread in the Fan Fiction forum, got my title post sorted and posted then added the first episode of my story. Unfortunately I can't seem to view it anymore.
It appears in the lists, in my profile under statistics just fine, I can click on and read other members threads, but when I click on mine all I get is an error complaining that something is wrong with the cookies as "header already sent". I could access the thread until I posted that second reply. Is there anything you guys can do for me? Even if it's just deleting the second post. I'd rather not have the entire thread deleted, as I haven't yet archived the title post... but I'll totally understand if you have to. Thanks in advanced. |

Yea, I ran into the same issue when trying to bring up his fanfic. It says unable to locate Cookie or something.

Oh good. Not just me then!
I'm pretty certain the problem started when I hit reply on the second post. Funny thing is it's just a bunch of text and bbcode. There's a broken link in the first post which I haven't filled in yet... but that's it. EDIT: Here's the exact error message. Quote:
Unable to add cookies, header already sent.

Another update, it seems to be possible to view the entire thread when logged out or as a guest. Not ideal... but at least it can actually be read somehow.
I've also searched a number of tech support forums and the concensus seems to be that there is an easy fix but you have to find the line the error is on first (time consuming) before you can alter the PHP to ignore it. It may also have something to do with having an outdated (possibly exploitable) version of either vB or PHP, but no one is particularly certain. EDIT (again...): I'm not sure but I think the problem has fixed itself when the cookies were cleared after I logged out. Could some check for me the thread is now working? We've been making some changes behind the scenes in preparation of the new forum design with our site relaunch. I will forward this on to our programmer as I am unable to view the error and I think I know why.
Please keep me updated about the issue.
