Like the title says: Would you like to, or are you going to buy the Legacy Zord releases if you already own the original versions in a good and complete state?
I chose no. For me, the way Zords combine/transform is a very important factor if I want to buy them or not. Almost every Zord/Robot in my collection features a unique transformation or combination sequence. And while the Legacy Zords do look much better in most ways*, they are basically the same toys as the original versions released in the 90's. For me at least. So I am not going to spend much money on a figure that functions and looks almost the same as something I already own. Added to this is the cost of buying them. As my country does not sell them, I am forced to import them, which adds shipping fees and, if I am unlucky, import taxes. * Judging from pictures I saw, I prefer the original tail staff of the Dragonzord, as the Legacy version is a bit too oversized in my opinion. And the Megadragonzord looks a bit weird, as the Legacy Megazord is a bit slimmer than it's original 1993 counterpart. But apart from that, the Legacy toys do look much better. |

Yes, I would. There's a massive quality increase, and they're Zordbuilder compatible. I like Zordbuilder.

The only reason I say yes is because of the quality and accuracy of the design as it pertains to the on screen designs alternatively I could just get the Japanese version and when it comes to the bandai of japan versions almost all the time I don't have to worry about the quality I just have to worry about what I can get.

Yes. I own all of the Thunderzords and Serpenterra and I already bought the LEgacy Won Tiger. I will be doing the same the Thunder Megazord and hopefully they do Tor and Serpenterra.
The LEgacy ones are show accurate, they do not have god awful stickers (well, most of them), and they have a few more bits of articulation. Last edited by Dr Kain; 11-25-2015 at 12:48 PM.. |

I would not, unless I could sell the original ones. I wouldn't enjoy having 2 of one toy even if it was a little better.

Well, I already own King Brachion (can never remember the Power Rangers names) so I won't be re-buying that, but I really wouldn't buy it even if I didn't already own it. The only other one that I own that has a Legacy release is RyuseiOh, and that i'd be willing to re-buy because it looks so much nicer and has the rest of the set.
The reason I don't own any of these, however, is the price.

Only Kakure Daishogun, because I love that thing so much and I need show accurate stickers and a crane with red accents, rather than pink.

I'd buy because of the obvious, as everyone else has said. Better sculpting, paint, articulation, and size ratio. I want show accuracy, with the transformation gimmick. That's what this line is supposed to be. I'll bite....skipping over releases I don't like as much and don't need.
I'm looking for Thunder Megazord, Ninja/Shogun Megazord, Serpenterra, and Red Battlezord. That's just for the possible foreseeable future. |

Yes, for most of them, except the Legacy Megazord. This is primarily due to the use of paint over the sticker details.
I do feel like the Legacy Megazord is beginning to look like the odd one out amid all the other releases.
