Okay so, I enjoyed this series very much despite it losing steam near the end and I have some things I'd like to dissect here.
-First: It's clear they're setting up Absolute Tartarus and The Kingdom as the new major threat for Ultraman Trigger and maybe the Devil Splinters? Either that or it'll be the premise for the Reiwa Ultra Generation. -Second: Remember that image of Tartarus with some silhouetted figures? I think we can guess some of they're identities. The red female figure is probably Yulian, the big red one in the back might be Belial as some people have speculated, leaving the blue one unknown. Though I have some ideas for who that could be which brings me to my next point. -Third: Yulian meets someone at the end, who appears to be a prisoner, who bears a striking resemblance to Ultraseven. Though there's also a good chance it could be Max, since recall at the start, he was almost turned into a monster and because that third silhouette in the previously mentioned image resembles him more so than Seven. Either that or we have a tease at Trigger, since I kind of doubt that's Ultraseven X since he's technically the same guy, though they might pull a Kingdom Hearts on us or something. And finally: We have Belial and Tregear back and I'm honestly looking forward to the prospect they'll get an Absolutian makeover, since I doubt they'll keep them as they are and the red silhouette possibly being belial, or even a fusion. Plus we have all those villains Tartarus has been recruiting, so whatever they plan down the line, they're gonna have a lot to take care of, and I'm definitely looking forward to it. |

The blue silhouette looks a lot like Seven, especially with the stinger reveal. I’ve seen speculation that in line with TAC bringing back a lot of obscure faces, this might be Seven’s Superior, which would be amazing.

We don't know a lot about every Ultra and how they got to be who they are. What if this is a "parallel isetope" of Seven himself!? The shadowy figure had Seven's eyes, but I don't recall seeing an Eye Slugger! I'm not saying that it wasn't there, I just don't remember it being atop the shadowy head. Running with this theory, I'm thinking that maybe Seven was so hard on Zero in years past cause there was a time that Seven himself nearly made a mistake. A time before Seven got his Slugger and made the journey to Earth. It's obvious that Absolute Tartarus is more than willing to pull alternates from throughout the timeline, but organizing a bunch of villains who do nothing but lose can't be the endgame! There's got to be something BIG in mind here, and a twisted Seven fits the bill. Consider how the first half of the Conspiracy involved Ribut saving Max. What if that same trick worked on a younger and more psychologically susceptible Seven? Again, just a theory. |

Agreed on the Superior Theory, but I also have another thought.

A) It's just Ultraseven, which would be narratively strange and ultimately disappointing B) It's Seven's Superior C) It's a parallel isotope of Seven, which if so they may lean into even more by saying he's Heisei Ultraseven or Ultraseven X D) It's a guy we've never seen before

Random Idea that hit me: an evil ultra partnered with a human, but they're actually friends and do care about each other. This makes it especially tragic when they meet their end.

Ok, I gotta say, this has to be my favorite piece of Ultra content I've seen until now, having seen Z and Galaxy Fight: New generation. Nice action, an interesting story, and, in my opinion, the best part of it, really good use of legacy content, which is kinda funny since I criticized Z for exactly that and this has way more. But I felt never lost here, just enough info to understand the basics, and Belial's and Tregia's stories were really good and made me interested in looking up more of them. It felt like it had a point. And even if this concluded with a bad end, not quality wise, more story-wise with the heores losing, it only made me more interested in where this might be heading.

That is another thing I was thinking myself! I've got four theories at the moment:-
A) It's just Ultraseven, which would be narratively strange and ultimately disappointing B) It's Seven's Superior C) It's a parallel isotope of Seven, which if so they may lean into even more by saying he's Heisei Ultraseven or Ultraseven X D) It's a guy we've never seen before |

Yeah, the ending does kinda stick like a bit of a sore thumb. Honestly, it really is just the fact that it ends with Yullian being kidnapped. Keep everything else like Tartarus explaining his plan and even early Belial/Tregear still being around, and I would be ok with it as a tease for the next UGF. As is, it makes it feel like the heroes ultimately lost at the end, and retroactively makes the events in Z feel a little weird cause now there's this huge plot point of "Yullian has been kidnapped" that's never acknowledged in the show.
Aside from that, I still really enjoyed TAC. It's very cool to see all these old and obscure characters/forms come back into the spotlight, especially at a time when Ultra is getting an increasing global presence. I'm looking forward to the next UGF though I hope it doesn't pull another cliffhanger ending. If it is going to do that, at least announce that there's going to be another installment so that we can temper our expectations. |

Then we'd have more runtime for a lot of other things honestly. That's my only real gripe about those two. |

While it is super cool TAC was acknowledging and exploring all these facets of ultra lore that didn't have much focus before, there was always a worry, at least for me, that it would be a bit too much of a kitchen sink, and the early Belial/Tregear story is probably the stuff that suffered the most cause even with the extended 10 minute runtime, their stories still feel very abridged. Like I could easily see those stories take up a whole 30 minutes by themselves.
