Just caught back up on Gridman after not watching for a couple of weeks. I absolutely love this series, holy crap. Also just watched episode 365 of One Piece. Normally I watch One Piece episodes in groups, so only watching one was kind of weird. It makes it way more obvious just how slow the series is.

The anime that I watched this year and I didn't watch very many. I will rank the ones from best to worst.
The Night is Short, Walk on Girl - Fantastic Devilman Crybaby - Fantastic Mr. Tonegawa: Middle Management Blues - Probably the funniest anime in a while. Psycho-Pass - Not perfect, but still a great anime in my opinion. Glad that I watched it. Mirai - Very good movie. FLCL 2 - Not as good as the first FLCL, but still pretty good. FLCL 3 - Same above^ Inuyashiki - Good premise, needs better execution. I still find it to be a fun anime nevertheless. Pop Team Epic - The show can be both very funny and cringey at times. I find it to be very 50/50. Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters - Meh Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle - Utter dogshit I felt rather burn out by anime for the first time in a long time. So decided to catch up on movies and books that I wanted to watch and read instead. In 2019, I will try to catch up on some more titles like Gridman and the recent Garo anime from a while ago.

Anime I've watched eh?
Jojo Vento Aureo, MHA season 3, Pop Team Epic, Devilman Crybaby, Cutie Honey, Re: Cutie Honey, Shin Cutie Honey, Cutie Honey Universe, 3 episodes of Seven Deadly Sins, 10 episodes of Dirty Pair and Dragon Ball Super Champa arc. Enjoyed all of it except for Cutie Honey Universe, which was very disappointed and included some of the franchise's more gross moments despite having some really cool ideas, and Seven Deadly Sins. Can NOT find a single thing to like about this show

I got into BNHA this year. I've yet to start the third season but it's good, I like it.
Also watched the Patlabor TV series this year. I have yet to start the sequel OVAs but it's good, I like it. Didn't really watch that much stuff this year, too busy punishing other hobbies, and there's not a lot that feels worth bringing up. But Asobi Asobase was the shit, one of my favorite seasonals I've seen and definitely stands out as a highlight of the year. Also, Zombieland Saga is really fun, I'm still like a third away from finishing, but I really like it. And Kamen Rider Ex-Aid has good taste in zombies. Also just generally happy JoJo is airing, got caught up with the anime mid-last year, and it's just such a fun watch. Oh, and I'm also really happy with Hugtto Precure after a couple years of not really being interested in the currently airing Cures. It's real good. So behind on all this shit though lmao. I wish Kaiji had more seasons instead of these dang spin-offs. |

It has been quite sometime since I watched an anime series outside of re-watching Transformers Armada as well checking its original Japanese counterpart. I started watching The Devil Is A Part-Timer! since this series is going to taken out Netflix instant viewing at the end of this month. It looks pretty enjoyable so far.

The word BNHA when taken out of context sounds like it is some slice of life comedy anime about Benihana employees.
People who dont watch anime would be like "That is a thing?!". Legit question, what is BNHA?
