What top five list has ex-aid inside in your opinion?
Personally, things like top five villain in KR, or top five tertiary characters will definitely feature ex-aid. I am pretty confident that those two lists will feature or mention ex-aid in some form since the characters this season were really strong. |

Top 5 Upgrade Forms for me (IE. Jinba Lemon, DeadHeat, Toucon Boost, etc.)
Mighty Brothers transcends being a simple upgrade with the amount of detail and time they put into it's backstory and how it works. While it didn't have a big satisfying brawl like DeadHeat did when it fought Heart, it's story significance even when not in use is just really good. |

-Being ballsy in the art department such as googly eyes, use of magenta, cyan, all the bright neon colors
-Doing their best to not leave things hanging story-wise and wrap things up which I think so far they did good - An interesting meld of video games, medical drama, and superheroes - Some heartbreaking sad moments done super-well i.e. Kiriya and Hiiro - Kuroto God

Masamune is probably up there for villains. He's infuriatingly ruthless and relentless and the show has done a great job of making me absolutely hate this guy.
Poppy is probably in the top five for comic relief characters for me, too. On paper I should absolutely hate this character, but the actress does such a good job of putting real heart into the performance that I've been really won over by her. I'd have to think about it, but the theme song may be up there in the top five, too. The period where the show skipped the opening credits and used it as an insert song really sold me on it (the Ghost/Ex-Aid Movie War did a good job of highlighting how not every Rider theme can work like that). Story is another one I'd have to think about. I've really liked the overall story of Ex-Aid, but I'd have to really examine how well it stacks up against some of the all-time greats like Blade or Hibiki. There are a lot of things that I wouldn't rank that highly about the show, though. I've been on-record numerous times slamming the suit designs, for example, and I don't know if many of the characters rise above similar characters from other shows. On the whole, I think Ex-Aid has probably cracked my top five series list, but it's mostly as a combination of its parts. |
