- The miniature shots for the mecha battle felt fresh being shot outside
- No bank shots for henshin and gattai sequences are definitely a new one and will be looking forward to see more of(*bank shots for those who are not familiar with the term, are shots in tv shows regardless of medium that are re-used multiple times. Henshin sequences and gattai sequences are an example of this) - The trap door sequence where Ryuji and Yoko popped out of a poster was fun to see. - New material! I like. I believe a shift in textiles has not happened since Dynaman (first team to wear spandex), and it's about time we saw something new happen with costumes. With the first episode showing promise, I think it is safe to say IT'S MORPHIN TIME! and Buddyroids FTW Last edited by Sunred; 02-26-2012 at 03:09 AM.. |

.....and i just saw the end dance number.lol.I'd be ok with it if it were just the busters dancing, yknow kids show and what not.But no they had to go and ruin it by not only making the commander dance who was barely talked and was serious the whole episode, but also....*facepalm*the gobuster-oh.then the whole crew that works on the gobuster-oh started dancing, which then made sense why it would dance.lol

Really liking it so far. The only thing I didnt like was the dancing at the end. Good thing they didnt do that for Gokaiger...I bet Marvelous wouldve bodyslammed somebody if they asked him to do that.

That was a great opening!
I'm still giggling at "Enertron" though EDIT: I just saw this on Orends.... Isn't that the Super Sentai wikipedia page?

The first episode was fantastic!
And I have to be honest but this doesn't feel like your typical sentai, I'm not saying it's not a sentai but it feels so fresh and different that it reminds me of the first time I watched kamen rider, or ryukendo or Rescue Force. I really love the real time henshins aswell, I hope they keep up with that, and even real time Mecha transformations, all this real time in a sentai just, it's just too overwhelming even with a counter on the side during the Megazord's arrival. It was a very stylish and well shot opening episode, and the stunts and mecha fight scenes were superb, especially that moment when Hiromu appears and it's actually the actor flying across on bikedude (I can't remember his name atm). Also Toei are really stepping up their mecha game, like one guy on HJU said you can really feel the scale in the battles (Very nice touch with the people in the building!) So far though a fantastic opening episode, let's hope they can keep up this kinda of quality throughout, Gokaiger managed to keep it up to a degree so hopefully toei learnt from that to keep it consistent in this new series!

It actually reminded me more of Kamen Rider where all the weapon activations, powers, etc. are spoken in english.

Bah, that was barely a dance ending. It was just them bouncing back and forth with the mic toys that thankfully never got shoehorned into the show. Magiranger did the dance ending right. Go-Onger did nicely with them too.

With the exceptions of Boukenger, Shinkenger and Gokaiger, all the end themes since Deka have had some form of dance in them so I can live with Go-busters being the same. Its not all that bad anyway, at least the song is good.
