Gunbuster is awesome and is one of my favorite Super Robot Mecha series. I also consider it to be one of Gainax best work next to Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise. I didn't like Diebuster as much as Gunbuster in my opinion.

Tiger Mask W is now going all out it seems. More wrestlers with a tiger mask appear! The Third is ruthless like no other and the the new tigers are awesome in their own right as well.

I just finished Gunbuster. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it, but overall I enjoyed it. Slight spoilers, if anybody cares. First and foremost, I absolutely ADORE the art. late 80s and early 90s sci-fi anime contains some of the best artwork I've ever seen, and this is no exception - especially in the last episode. The story was interesting, but a bit...strange? I feel like the way they implemented time dilation doesn't make much sense. Like....why would they be worried about an attack happening the next day when it takes them like a week to get to where the enemy is? Other than that, though, the story was great. The pacing was a bit odd, however, and I feel like that made things a bit confusing. Though, on the other hand, it was refreshing to see something different, and if it had a more traditional narrative structure, I don't think it would have been as enjoyable. As for the mecha action...well, there was barely any. Gunbuster's few fights were all awesome, but aside from that it seemed more like a space opera than a fully blown super robot series. I absolutely highly recommend the series though - even if it's not exactly your cup of tea, it was such a unique experience, and it had a clear impact on a lot of shows that came later.
I'm not sure how I feel about Diebuster now. Obviously, I haven't seen it yet, but...I kind of am expecting it to be very different. Gunbuster is very much a product of the 1980s, and that is a lot of what I liked about it. So even if Diebuster has a similar premise, the presentation and overall feel will be very different. I really can't imagine it being anything like Gunbuster, and am picturing it more along the lines of Gurren Lagann. If it's anything like either Gunbuster, TTGL, or somewhere in the middle, I know I'll enjoy it, so whenever I get around to it I'll just sit back and enjoy.

Attack on Titan season 2 is now over. I enjoyed it, but then I already knew I liked this arc so seeing it adapted was nice. It's the next one I still feel will really turn people.
Fortunately, we don't have long to wait! It's already confirmed as coming next year. ^_^

Spriggan - I have not watch any anime in a while because I've been very busy lately. I remember Spriggan was hype up as the next big thing back in 1998 and Katsuhiro Otomo's (Akira) name was use for the marketing of this movie.
The movie is nowhere on the same level as Akira, but I still think Spriggan is a solid action movie. The movie is very entertaining to watch from start to finished. I found the story and characters to be very interesting. I find it very cool that Noah's Ark is actually the Great Flood, and it was created from alien technology. In the movie, we find out that Noah's Ark is responsibe for creating all life on Earth and I really dig that idea. I also like how they have Pentagon that wants to use the Ark for global supremacy to be a cool idea. Yu Ominae was a pretty cool character and I did like that he start to know more about the character later in the movie. All of the other characters felt rather flat and I wish more development could have been done for them. I do like the main villain and I found his motivations to be very cool. He is a very fun character and I think having look like a little kid is supposed to represent of a kid in the sandbox. The kid being a God and the Ark being a sandbox for a kid to play and build stuff. Seeing that the main villain wanted to use the Ark to rebuild the Earth again in his own image. The animation in this movie is fantastic and it still looks good after almost 20 years later. The action sequences are fast and nicely animated. Both the Japanese and English voice acting is very good as well. Overall, Spriggan is a solid action anime movie from start to finish. The movie is not a masterpiece like Akira is and I'm glad that this movie is not trying to be the next Akira. If you enjoy action anime and want a fun pop corn flick, I recommended checking out Spriggan. I give Spriggan a 7/10.

Attack on Titan season 2 had a pretty boring start but half way through it became amazing. This last episode was no exception. It was cool to see Eren finally avenge his mother. Plus we learned that Titans used to be humans. I'm so glad season 3 is coming next year unlike the four year gap between season one and two.

Yeah a lot of any negativity I felt watching this season was thinking "this is all we're getting" the whole time. Really didn't help. Wonder how it might'e been different knowing from the start we'd get more for sure and soon..
Anywho, been binging My Hero Academia over the past few days. Just a couple more episodes until I'm caught up. This is a pretty fun show.
