If you're ready for some lighthearted fun in the form of a mockbuster movie, then get ready for Atlantic Rim! This movie features extremely simple dialogue with robots that look like they're right out of Real Steel fighting giant lizard monsters in cities. This movie features a bunch of people we haven't heard of along with Treach from Naughty By Nature fighting "very large" monsters and stuff from the sea.
Trailer below:

To be fair to the Asylum their original spins on the things they are ripping off often fall flat but occasionally they are a stroke of genius and are actually better than the film they are based on (looking at you VS Zombies) or are just so damn insane that they become awesome in their own right (looking at you Sherlock Holmes).
As such I normally keep an open mind when going into an Asylum film, yeah I'm usually disappointed but I know every now and then I'm gonna find something I really enjoy. Then again I'm the guy who loves SyFy originals so I guess I'm pretty niche.
