Let's Go On!
Tokunation has been paying tribute this month to Power Rangers RPM in honor of the franchises 20th Anniversary. Continuing that homage we have a look a yet another DX figure from Engine Sentai Go-Onger! This time we're checking out the DX Go-Roader GT! Known in RPM as the Road-Attack Zord. Go-Roader GT was built by Jumbwhale to help aid the Go-Ongers in their battle against the Gaiarc menace. Capable of changing from a normal ranger sized robot to a giant robo on par with Engine-Oh, Go-Roader has it's own AI and can house the souls of other Engines. The DX Go-Roader GT is a fun simple toy with tons of posability, definitely a rarity for sentai robos. Note that while an inaccurate 6" transforming figure was released in the US RPM toyline, Go-Roader did not receive a full DX release here. Want TokuNation.com updates on the go? What is? There is no DX release of Go-Roader in the US. The only toy it ever got was a small 6" transforming figure. BOA made it and some Road Attack rangers that also turned into wheels. As if the robot mode for the Road Attack wasn't inaccurate enough it was also redesigned to be an off road tread tire rather than the racing wheel that the Go-Roader actually is. The real Go-Roader pictured here is the same size as the DX Engine-Oh and the other Go-Onger mecha.
