This thing is incredibly beautiful and the wealth of parts is amazing. So it's too bad that there's no Kiriko figure to sit in the passenger seat, since she's usually the one warming it.

Great gallery as usual, this really is a beautiful piece. I agree though about the cutaway model part, it definitely takes away the whole point of the thing. While I do understand that it would be useful in some displays where you can't fit the whole thing, like what I mentioned above about it not fitting in a Detolf, I don't think it's worth it. Personally, I'd rather just find some other way to display it as I don't think it's worth removing the majority of such a great looking piece.

Your gallery was in top gear! Your comparison pictures with the DX Tridoron are *stark*. Your improvised Shinnosuke picture is great: nice drive!
I warmed to Drive by the time it ended, but I never considered the Figuarts Tridoron purchase. The cost is a factor, of course, but also space: the thing is huge. I bought Mattel's Castle Grayskull when it was offered, and what I learned from that is that I don't have all that much space to display large objects. Figuarts-scale people, sure. An entire car? Not so much. (I'm already thinking of switching from DX Sentai mecha to minipla, since Super Robot Chogokin gave up on Sentai.) Galleries like this allow me to live vicariously. And heck, your Tridoron finally gives your Mashin Chaser something to, y'know. Chase. |

It's a gorgeous piece but I can't help but feel underwhelmed since no sh. Figuart vehicle has had all of the transformations or modes of their DX counterparts.

Such an impressive toy, which is why I am so glad to have one of my own.

Man, this thing is so awesome. Wish I could afford one right now. Oh well, there's always the chance of finding it for a good price at a con.

I love this! Haven't pulled the trigger on any SHF vehicles yet but so tempted! The DX one will have to do for now!

I have the DX Tridoron and I love it but if I had the money I would get this one as well.

Tridoron's a wonderful thing to own. It's very impressive. I just wish I had room to display it all the time!
