Here is my first attempt at painting a very detailed yet small figure from the Transformers line and making it into an homage to one of my favorite Sentai of all time, Gaoranger.
Was browsing through a Walmart one day getting some more paint supplies and found my way to the toy aisle. They had a new selection of $5 figures that were made to be like accessory bots for the standard size toys. I saw the orange and yellow lion and immediately thought of the Red Lions of Sentai. Now this was.....an adventure. XD Just learning how to thin paint with semi-gloss floor polish and wait times between coats....as well as plastic tolerances of overbrushing and friction. So the lil Headmaster bot that came with the lion suffered an injury to the knee joint, but thankfully he is still functional. And the red did not come out as vibrant as I would have hoped. STILL! This is a learning experience and I love learning to paint these items! ^^ I would love to hear your guys feedback and any advice you can offer to a newbie to the customs scene!
