Just finished the last episode of Attack on Titan. I was getting ready to say I hated it until that very last second.
They changed things up a little bit, but everything that should have happened sort of did or is implied to happen soon... We just need another season now for any of it to occur. I really do feel that this wasn't an ending, even in spite of Armin's speech haha, so I hope it continues.

Just watched all of Danganronpa. Loved it, reminded me a lot of other manga I had read before about people being trapped and murders/deaths needed to occur for freedom (i.e, Life Is Money)

It seems I have.
Episode 5 of Clannad: After Story might finally have begun the explanation for the spirit robot. Now whether the robot is the cat or Shima is the true question... Episode 6... and I finally realized that the past two episodes were a flashback/dream about Misai... yeah. Well, I guess I was right on both accounts—it seems that the spirit robot is both Shima and the cat. Misai took that news fairly well. Episode 7 introduces gangs and gang wars… okay. That's an odd way to give Yukine a story. Tomoyo engaging in minor vigilantism is rather amusing, though. Episode 8 ends the gang wars. So much emotion… Last edited by KRX; 09-28-2013 at 11:22 PM.. |

Gundam 00 14-25
God Fucking Damn. The Gundam Trinity arc was really cool and I like the girl miester was really cool when she wanted to get with Setsuna, but then..... she killed a bunch of innocent people. I thought the couple was pointless in the story until the massacre happened and I realized something, these two were my relative relation to normal people in this series. It connects the combat of Mobile Suits to a normal individual, making the world feel more connected, something I think Wing failed at. We've had every Gundam Miester except Terria give their backstory and motives for joing Celestial Being. We even get some sympathy from the Tactical Strategist lady. But before we go, we've got to have a rescue and Deus Ex Machina somewhere. So before Setsuna gets his ass kicked by that middle eastern guy in the Gundam Trinity, he pulls some clock up bullshit out of his ass. First Cast off and then Clock Up. How much more could they rip off from Kamen Rider Kabuto? That final fight though, was so epic. Psuedo-DN particle engines attached to normal Mobile Suits fighting the Gundams and a golden ship with the dick in the series piloting it was awesome. Even though i know there is a second season and the show itself knew it was going to have one, I felt like this was a fitting end. Overall, this first half of Gundam 00 was better then Wing's first half by miles and could be better then Wing including the second half and the movie. |

^ Virtue's cast-off I give you but Trans-Am is a reference to Char Aznable aka the Red Comet whose Red Zaku was 3 times faster than the average one.
Season 2 is different as it downplays the political aspect of the show, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. |

Episode 10 of Clannad: After Story not only gives Yoshino more of a purpose in the story, but also a job for Tomoya.
Episode 11 and I've begun to consider yelling at Tomoya and Nagisa to get married already. The only thing stopping me is the odd parallels I see between the anime and my own relationship with my friends at school. Episode 12 reveals to me that I have great timing, since Tomoya just proposed to Nagisa. I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry... (Told you I wasn't going to cry.) Episode 13 reunites the old cast and finally gets Tomoya and Nagisa married. Now what? Episode 14... Excuse me... BABIES BABIES BABIES BABIES! *Eh-hm.* Rapper Akkio was amazing. Episode 15 brings a shocking twist—Sonae has never been to Nagisa's restaurant! Well, I found it surprising. Episode 16 has Nagisa die. I can't say that I'm surprised. It's still sad, though. We also return to the concept of the micro-world within the world, which, as I guessed before, seems to have a relation with the spirit robot. Episode 17 features Tomoya's first real father-daughter interactions with Ushio, both in the series' chronology and onscreen story. Last edited by KRX; 09-29-2013 at 06:32 PM.. |
