Finishing up on reading a musical libretto of Avenue Q while watching on of the stage productions of it.
Also, after a year or so since I've read the film novelization versions of the first two films of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, I've finally got myself started on reading the film novelization version of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and from I've heard about it, it really goes beyond adapting the movie from screen to page and is basically considered as Matthew Stover's magnum opus amongst his Star Wars writings. |

Just finished reading Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith film novelization and it really is good as they say it is. I can definitely say this one, as well as the film novelization versions of TPM and AOTC, are among the Star Wars novels I highly recommend. Even if you aren't a fan of the prequel film trilogy, they are still seriously worth checking out.
Now, I'm trying to decide which Star Wars novel to read next. The choices are The Force Unleashed or Dawn of the Jedi: Into The Void. EDIT: Never mind. I have now read them both in their entirety. Next SW novel: The Force Unleashed II. Last edited by GuardianAngel87; 05-21-2017 at 10:14 PM.. |

I'm currently reading, well re-reading anyway, The Disaster Artist. It's a very fascinating read about the behind the scenes difficulties/experiences that Greg Sestero had during the making of the famously bad movie called The Room as well as his unlikely friendship with Tommy Wiseau. The book itself is getting a film adaptation which will be released on December 8th after getting a limited release a week beforehand and is starring James Franco and his brother. Yeah, definitely a non-fiction novel I highly recommend and I don't even read them all that much, if at all.

I never caught on the Naruto craze but decided to get on the Boruto bandwagon. Also I am contemplating finishing Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

Currently trying to get through the film novelization version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Thankfully, I'm already more than halfway through it. Only 70 pages to go.

I just read Dark Days: The Forge and I have to say it's excellent. This is only a prologue of what's to come but it still is great. It's nice to see the Hawks, Lady Blackhawk, Plastic Man, and best of all, the Joker. We haven't seen him since Batman Endgame and it turns out he's been stuck in the Batcave this entire time. This entire series is about Hawkman's Nth metal and how Batman is trying to understand the power behind it. Next issue, Dark Days: The Casting, will also be a prologue until the Dark Days: Metal series official begins.

I am, once again, going through yet another Star Wars novel of the current continuity (I already read through The Force Awakens film novelization and Before The Awakening beforehand) in a personal reading marathon of sorts and this time, it's Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel. Once I'm finished with it, it will be followed by the film novelization version of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. After that, it's Lords of the Sith.

Just finished reading Rogue One: A Star Wars Story film novelization. Now, it's onward to the next "current canon" SW novel, Lords of the Sith. After that, it's Battlefront: Twilight Company. Four down, at least seventeen to go.

Managed to finish Star Wars: Battlefront: Twilight Company today. It was okay. Outside of an somewhat interesting concept of the war between The Rebel Alliance and The Empire through the viewpoint of soldiers of the former that fought in the trenches and a few chapter taking place during one of the events of The Empire Strikes Back which is the Battle of Hoth, it's really nothing to write home about. I am currently on Star Wars: Thrawn on which I'm already up on its second chapter, soon to be on its third. After that's finished, it's onward to the next SW current continuity novel, The Weapon of a Jedi.
